POOR Customer Service

Customer Service including the Supervisor have no idea what they are talking. I called to request to stop pre-authorized payment and it went thru. I called and dispute the transaction, they pushed all responsibilities. Be careful what they promise you as at the end of the day, they will tell you everything is done and can not resolve.

Poor service

This is the only credit card company that penalizes you for having no balance owing and make every payment before the due date and paying in full. They drop your credit limit which, therefore, plays with your credit rating. Well, you lost yet another customer and will never get another dollar from me. Sure hope your company goes under and more people realize Canadian's don't need your service.

They lie about all rewards. It is a scam by the Walmart company. First by giving customers false information that if you spend this much you will get 15 dollars rewards within 5 business cycle, which no one receives. When you call them they do not give any information because they also do not know how it works. Trying to call them the past 5 days no one is picking up the phone. Very very poor customer service of Walmart and rude too.

Very poor costumer service

Horrible customer service, they have zero knowledge and they are very rude. They also have ridiculous rules, my card was worn out and I requested a new card, they said they will deactivate my old card right away when I request for a new card that means I will be stuck with no credit card for almost 2 months until I get the new card in the mail. Also, I had some big amount of credit back to my credit card (refund of 9000$) and when I asked if I can cash it out, the customer service representative had no idea what I was talking about. She didn’t know anything and she was extremely rude. Also, I had to deal with fraud from the cheap air company and I wanted to put the amount ($1700) on the dispute and they said because it was more than 30 days ago, they can’t do anything about it. Very disappointed and will never recommend them to anyone. Worst Desjardin Insurance!

Credit card was scammed

I use my card to book an online hotel by booking.com but unpaid cash at the property. After 3 months I found out that the customer service called me and said I have some balance didn't pay it. I told him am not using it but I will pay it's only 50$ and I went to Walmart shopping center and I paid it after 4months I received a call they told me that I still owe 678$ in my balance to them and I have to pay it. Then I told them I didn't use it! After they check my account they found out some online dating! Obviously, someone hacked my card and start using it in some online dating and porn websites. I told them to block my card so they can't use it. Also if something unusual happening especially if it's an online website they should inform me or notified me about it. if I confirmed it that's means I use it. If not they should block the website! But with Walmart Mastercard, they didn't care and let it happen. Now I owe them $1023 + interest which I didn't use it or consume it and yet still sending me statement they want me to pay it. The worst customer service, worst problem solving, worst company! I recommend everyone read this comment stay away from this company! You gonna regret it that you choose Walmart Mastercard!

takes no blame

I paid my first month's Master Card at Walmart week before the deadline. I paid both mine and my wife's cards which both had balances on them. They applied both payments to one card and thus charged interest on the card not paid off. When I asked at Walmart they said they could not do anything about it. They made the mistake. I called Master Card and they did transfer the credit to the other card but would not write off the interest because it was past due. It was past due, only, because they put the two payments I made on one card. They told me I had to pay the total bill and call them back. The worse service I have had with any credit card or store service department. FORGET about the $25 signing bonus, the HEADACHES are not worth it.

Worst customer service

So I applied for the Walmart Rewards MasterCard and was instantly approved. I was so happy, then after using the card for a few weeks, I get a call from their security department stating that he was looking over my credit report and I owed some other companies money... Then he said I need verification documents faxed in, I faxed them the same day. On March 3 Rd they said 5-10 business days to verify the documents. I waited and waited for a phone call, still nothing. I called them every day and every time it's something new. They tried to change the date of the documents arriving from the 3rd to the 9th, they kept saying 5 business days and then it would pass and then they said another 5 business days etc. I have been waiting for over a month and still no phone call. I make it a point to bother them as much as possible because if they didn't like my credit report it shouldn't have excepted me in the first place. It is disheartening especially since I'm in the process of fixing my credit and have invested a lot of money to do so. They are horrible at answering the phone and I would suggest not even applying for it at all. It is the worst headache and they are very judgemental and rude when you call them to ask if they are doing there job. It seems like a way to pick and choose after people have been approved and also I'm pretty sure none of these people live in Canada... They don't like their job and they are horrible at it. So please don't ever get this MasterCard. I will be making reviews on YouTube and making it well known to the world about this stupid card.

Screwed us

Decided they didn't like the Magic Jack phone number that we OPENED THE CARD WITH, slapped a hold on the card, demanded identifying documents, I faxed them the ID, they said the hold would be released in 7 days at most, and despite me asking for one, they gave me no referral number. I scrambled around to rearrange payments I had set up to come off the card automatically and waited. In roughly ten days, I tried to extract money from the card to pay for my husbands' medication. Declined. I called back. They claimed they only got the info a three days before this call and claimed it would be another three days. I got lots of "sorries" lots of "we have a process" got hung up on, then finally just cancelled the card with the balance owing. Screwed us twice. Lied to us. Hung up on me. Screw Walmart, and screw Mastercard. NEVER making myself vulnerable like this again.

Terrible customer service
