I had to call Wallmart Mastercard 4 times and was on the phone for almost an hour and a half just to get a new card. I called Walmart Mastercard and asked them to send me a new Mastercard as the chip was not working. They kept sending me to an automated system to change my pin. Each time I called back I explained to them I just needed a new card sent out they said ok and kept transferring me to the automated system to change my pin. I kept asking for a manager and they kept trying to sell me stuff and saying congratulations you qualify for a supplemental card. I kept explaing that I just needed a new card mailed to me but they just couldn't seem to grasp the concept even though whatever country the call center is in spoke good English.
I tried calling Malmart Canada but would just get routed to the out of country call center.
Stay away from Malmart Mastercard and do your research to find a Mastercard company with good reviews and good customer service
So I got 5 transactions that were not authorized by me. Four different Walmart people came on line and asked me the same questions over and over and put me on hold and no resolution... customer service needs to understand that the more they scare customers the more people will close the Walmart card and they will be out of job! Customer service should be very careful on how they behave with customers.

My Walmart MasterCard was closed due to inactivity for 6 months, without being even told if this! I have never had a credit card closed in this manner. I went to a Walmart store and attempted to use my card and it was declined 3 times, with a negative balance. This led to a series of calls that informed me of the closure of my account. Each and every customer service representative was very unapologetic for what I was experiencing and, actually quite rude! I ended up, due to sheer frustration, telling them to cancel my card... No apologies were offered. Disgusting customer service!
Extremely poor customer service! They hang up on you and don’t solve your problem at all. Long waiting line with rude and no knowledgeable people. I will definitely cancel my credit card. Do not sign up for this credit ever if you value your time.
I have autism and the customer services are rude and disrespectful to me. They cancelled my credit card with no warning. Have to talk with 10 different people and no one has a clue what’s going on. Then they hang up on you. Security people are just as rude. Cannot talk to a supervisor have asked many times no response how can you be so disrespectful to your customers? I don’t understand it. Poor company don’t ever apply for a Walmart Mastercard worst customer service ever.

I have bad experience in the beginning. But they tried to fix my problem. So, I appreciate their service. Thank you for your help.
This card has given me hell from the beginning. Poor customer service, attitude from them while demanding you pay them your owed balance. Now I’m dealing with DNA collections because of them who are also making my life a living hell. Stick to other bank's credit cards to keep your life easy. The phone calls are around 15 a day for no reason, they have such high interest and won’t raise your credit limit no matter how good your credit is. Don’t forget, they also RUIN your credit at the credit bureau!!!
Charges without explanation and monthly statements. When it ran in normal, it seemed to be ok. But when you meet any situation, the terrible treatment starts.
I got some question about my previous charge and contacted with the customer service. No explanation and the transaction details provided. I canceled my card and found my online was locked off right away. I requested the monthly statement for reviewing and checking numerous. Every time the customer service representative always said I should get it within 10 days. After 100 days waiting, the required monthly statements have not been shown up. Even though I fully paid my last statement balance, and verified the balance became "0" by calling. My closed account balance is still growing. Where can I get this terrible service off?

I recently found fraudulent charges on my credit card, I had no idea what these things were... So I googled the company names and was like - what??? I never ordered anything from these websites… These are hundreds of dollars of charges… After being on hold for about an hour which I understand it can take a while especially during a pandemic… I finally get a human being on the phone and explain the situation… she politely asks me if I mistakenly signed up for a free trial or subscribed to something I explained no and that I have done my research and looked back on my transactions I did not make these transactions… she was like - ok, I will have to transfer you to the security department… After again maybe half an hour of being on hold the representative abruptly comes on the phone asking how he can help… I start explaining the situation and give him my card number. He rudely cuts when off when I was talking and basically repeated what I had said. I started saying I'm calling about charges I didn't make on my credit card he interrupts me while saying that and yells on the phone… I SEE YOUR CALLING ABOUT CHARGES ON YOUR CARD… Then he says - do you remember seeing something on Facebook or Instagram about winning a free phone and do you remember putting in your credit card? I said - no, I never did that! I try to explain in more details and he cuts me off again… Saying “really you don't remember let e repeat it again for you slower” (like I'm stupid) and he repeats it again and I said - NO I DID NOT MAKE THOSE TRANSACTIONS… He was like - ok, I will note you say that you didn't make those charges… Eventually, he cancelled my card and said he'd be sending me a new one… He talked down to me like I couldn't understand how a credit card works or what internet fraud is… I could not believe how he spoke to me and he completely changed his tone when I started getting angry… I am so angry never have I ever had such horrible customer service!!!

I had Walmart reward card for years. It was Ok at the beginning as you can use the cash-back money to shop at Walmart. Then it was hacked few times. The company increase the month limit to let the card being used continually.
Last year, I used the card in US then the card was blocked for no reason. I paid off the owed money (deducted the rewards amount), but the rewards money didn't count. They kept charging me the interest and phoned me many times. There was never smooth communication with the staff over the phone.
The online service function is terrible. No paperless statement, no text reminders when you make any purchase by the card, and not a safe card to use.
