They added a 3rd party scam insurance to my card, and it cost me more than the card. Absolutely refused to assist me to get my money back. Avoid!
I can't even count how many times I've had difficulty with their automated system. Hanging up on me and not even allowing me the option or chance to press the button. If by some miracle I do get through I am able to hear my information about when wanting to speak to a representative directly. The minimum whole time that I've experienced is no less than 30 minutes. Currently, as I write this I have been on hold for over 1 hour waiting to speak to someone for one piece of information which I cannot access online or through their automated system. Incredibly frustrating and good chance I will be cancelling this card once I've actually reached a human being.

No one cares here. Send you a statement by email and if you don't pay right at 2 months they hit your credit score right away. We had an issue with logging in and we were paying the wrong number on the card. They didn't care and knocked us.
Awesome service! The customer service is always very friendly, every question I had was answered and every problem solved right away. If I compare it with my previous card experiments it's coming from hell to heaven. I'm so happy that I moved. Thank you!
I received a financing card through FutureShop/ Chase before Best Buy took over. When BestBuy stepped in my accounts were transferred to Desjardins. I have now paid over $400 for a $100 purchase and had my credit completely ruined due to poor customer service. They rarely send statements and when they do it is on request because I am ineligible for online statements being grandfathered in. When I do call and ask for the full amount owing they only tell me a portion. Today (after already paying off the "full amount" 3 times now) I called to see why they are showing up on my credit score again as a missed payment. They responded saying I owe $12. Then when I pressed the "full amount" went up to $16 then before I hung up I tried to verify the $16 would clear me, nope I still owe $46 to clear my card. Remember I don't receive statements so if I had paid the initial $12 like I was told I would've assumed I am paid off. This $100 purchase was made for a baby shower. The kid is in preschool now(4 y.o.). Please tell me how multiple payments over $20 over 4 years have not paid it off. TERRIBLE COMPANY. Shame on you.

You would think that a credit card company would be vigilant about credit card frauds. I went to Best Buy because of the flexible financing they offered with Desjardins visa credit card. Despite my good credit scores, my request for the maximum of $2,000 limit had been denied. They gave me a Desjardins number to call to see why I had been denied the application. After series of voice automated options, I found out that I had been approved for $15,000 limit and the account had been created under my SSN (It's Canadian) This freaked me out, and I immediately called their customer service to see what was happening. I was on the phone with them for over an hour as the Fraud Department could not figure out anything, and they pass the call around with different departments at least three times. Oh, and when I was transferred to customer service, they were very short with me about the fact that I called them up about fraud-related events... It was very hard to keep calm over the phone. My last time being "on hold" I was waiting for about ten minutes, then the phone was disconnected. Needless to say, they have the WORST customer service ever. They were so irresponsible as they did not know how to deal with fraud-related events. If anything, do not deal with credit card companies who couldn't care less about credit card fraud (and your credit score)
Terrible customer service! You are left waiting on the phone for hours, and then are unwilling to help. I asked to talk to a manager and I was told they would return my call within 48 hours.
Highly incompetent staff. Phone hold times in access of 45 mins. Rude customer service representatives who couldn’t care less about helping you. I escalated my issue to three different “managers” and still no resolution. They provide you with false information and loads of inconsistencies. Absolute horrible to deal with.

Compensation, customer service and the technology they use to move the money around are all by far the worst I have had to deal with. I have 3 other Visa cards that are substantially better. When trying to get statements after cancelling this card they made me buy a fax machine only to have different representatives tell me they won’t fax for security reasons. After 2 weeks of hounding them with calls, they finally emailed to me which they all said, in the beginning, was not possible. The reps on the phone are consistently awful, arrogant, snarky and hard to understand either their strong French accents
I called them this morning and because we already made a partial payment for this month, not only do we have to complete this month's payment, which isn't even due for another 2 weeks, they will only defer 1 month. 1 month? Have they not heard the country is falling apart and we are all out of jobs? Thank you, Desjardins, for causing more stress in an already stressful time.
