I have a 2-year fixed mortgage with TD at the moment. I financed through a manager my realtor recommended. He was able to give me a fairly low rate through Lines of Credit. That's what TD differs from other banks. So far I'm pretty happy with the rate.

we have had really good experiences over the years we have had our mortgage (9 years) I can see it on line when it was coming up for renewal we were advised to do it earlier rather than later as at that time rates were very low. (so did it 2 months earlier than we could have) was a good decision!

Very little experience with TD itself: got mortgage through a broker who found the lowest rate amongst a few lenders for us.
It was professional quick and I always had easy access to the lender. Customer service was acceptable to me the borrower.
Proceess was simple as the officer was very knowledgeable and gave very good suggestions on the type of mortgage and period over which to borrow

Nice and easy to understand didn't make it too complicated. We fist our mortgage broker once a year for updates on our account. They make it easy to make lump sum payments and change our payment amounts based on life circumstances.
I wish I could give 0 stars. I have had this mortgage insurance over 2 years. I blew 2 disks in my back and was unable to work. They screwed me over day after day. Kept telling me they'd call me back Friday. Which they never ever did. My claims adjuster Martin B. was the most incompetent person I've ever dealt with for anything in my entire life. I would have never bought this insurance if i knew i wouldn’t be covered if i was unable to work. Do not buy!!!
