I'm not able to give ZERO star

My husband had an accident in Feb 2017. single car. We were trying to not go through insurance because I had had two accidents 3 years prior to that. We found out we had no choice but to make the claim on a Friday. That is when the nightmare started. Because they all go home at 4:30 pm. I was not able to get my rental till Monday morning. Then was told it would be 4 to 5 days before they checked if my car was repairable. I had to call days later because no one called to tell me that it was complete and it was a write-off. Found out how much we were getting for our old car. Ok so now I have numbers. Dealing with Corina who does not have any humane empathy skills what so ever. And speaking to her is like speaking to a cardboard box. Trying to get clarification on anything is like wiping your "deriere with a cactus". After repeating myself a million times that both my husband and I work day shift and don't have cell phones and asking to call us at 4pm when we get home. Her responds was "Well, I called at 11 am and you should answer your phone." I am in the process of looking for a different company.

worst insurance company ever.

Someone had backed up into my car so it needed a new door. No fault of my own. First my car being fixed got delayed 2 weeks because Jennifer, my adjuster, sent my info to the wrong shop. Even though she gave me the location to bring it! Then when my car finally got started, Coachman said they were cutting off my rental even though the delay is their fault and I still have about another week till I get my car. Currently, my car is done at the shop but they wont release it, cause Coachman has not paid yet. So I call coachman, they say, they sent a cheque through the post office! So right now I'm paying my own rental and the shop is charging me for storage fees!! Coachman is completely rude even the supervisor Monica I spoke to told me it's not their job to deal with and it's my problem!! Do not use these crooks!! The second I get my car back I'm looking for a new company. My car has been in the shop over a month now and counting...

My experience has been great

In 2010 I was charged with DUI. This essentially lead to being off the road for 3 years (I took the extra year to avoid the necessity of installing an ignition interlock - breathalyzer - device).

In my search for facility insurance once my license had been reinstated, I must have called about 20 different agencies before stumbling across Coachman. Every other agency that I called treated me like a leper. Refusing to even deal with me sometimes, or spiking their premiums without even asking details about the charge/conviction or any other history.

Enter Coachman. They reviewed my entire file, took the time to evaluate my history, as well as the details of my conviction, and came back with a reasonable (of course expensive relative to non-DUI drivers) quote.

Exactly 10 days after picking up my vehicle I was rear ended in an intersection. Not only were my claims agent and all other agents super helpful, but they made sure that I had my rental vehicle ASAP, and when the rental vehicle gave me issues, they called the company (Large international rental company), and I was delivered a new vehicle right away.

I have had no issues in the almost 2 years I've been with Coachman. My premiums have also started to decrease right from my 1st anniversary date, and if I have any questions they've been very quick to help.

I recommend them to all of my friends and family.. at least go get a quote!

Worst company ever

I had my frist incident which was a flood that happen in my underground parking, when I first report it to coachman insurance they didn't get back to me until 3 business days and I was stuck with no car for 4 business days, I was covered for everything so after I have received my rental just 2 weeks later they have called me and told me to bring back my rental saying that I exceeded my 1500.00 amount for rental coverage which was a lie and provided information to them from the rental agency and then when they rudely apologize they put me on hold for 2 hours while they brief it through the claims supervisor. Still dealing with them now to get my settlement of vehicle sent out so I can get my new car since it's a write off this claim has been open since January 9th 2015. When going through something like this that makes life a little more stressful you think they'd make it easier nope its the other way around. The rate might be cheap but you get with what you pay for poor/rude customer service, slow claim process and the attempt to ripe you off .
