Worst company I have ever had to deal with

Even after my policy was expired and I moved on to another insurer, Coachman continued to take money from my account, even after they received a cancellation letter. The letter was sent on advice from my broker - BUT they were never authorized to take money after my policy expired. I had to go to my bank with all my documentation (I am glad I saved it) to get my money back. They did it again - I had to repeat the process. The company does not answer calls or respond to queries. This is theft! If you or I did it we would be charged. Save yourself a horrible hassle and do not deal with this insurer.
This company is the biggest definition of a scam I have ever seen! I would never recommend this company to anybody, the only reason I dealt with this company, to begin with, is due to the fact that I used a broker to find me insurance. After my cancellation, this company sent me back $110 out of over $630 that they had owed me. I shouldn’t have to chase after a professional insurance company for my money back. It’s been over a month since I have inquired about receiving my money back and have not gotten one response. So whether you’re looking for good insurance prices or good customer service THIS COMPANY IS NOT IT! They will leave you out of money for months!!
I was in a car accident this year no fault of my own. I have been dealing with this since March, one word to describe this company is mismanagement of their files, poor customer service, and completely disregarded as a client. I have now chosen to leave and go to TD Insurance.
My husband went there to get auto insurance and the young lady who was assisting him in doing so tried to have sex with him in her office and since then she's been calling our phones early hours in the morning trying to get him. She's called me names because I told her to leave us alone. I will be taking this matter to court because she is using the auto insurance to harass us and she CANCELLED the insurance because my husband refused to sleep with her. They are trying to force us to pay cancellation fees!!! THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE!!!
In 2010 I was charged with DUI. This essentially lead to being off the road for 3 years (I took the extra year to avoid the necessity of installing an ignition interlock - breathalyzer - device).
In my search for facility insurance once my license had been reinstated, I must have called about 20 different agencies before stumbling across Coachman. Every other agency that I called treated me like a leper. Refusing to even deal with me sometimes, or spiking their premiums without even asking details about the charge/conviction or any other history.
Enter Coachman. They reviewed my entire file, took the time to evaluate my history, as well as the details of my conviction, and came back with a reasonable (of course expensive relative to non-DUI drivers) quote.
Exactly 10 days after picking up my vehicle I was rear ended in an intersection. Not only were my claims agent and all other agents super helpful, but they made sure that I had my rental vehicle ASAP, and when the rental vehicle gave me issues, they called the company (Large international rental company), and I was delivered a new vehicle right away.
I have had no issues in the almost 2 years I've been with Coachman. My premiums have also started to decrease right from my 1st anniversary date, and if I have any questions they've been very quick to help.
I recommend them to all of my friends and family.. at least go get a quote!

Waited 5 months to send me back my double payment then contacted me saying that the carrier of my insurance didn't file in time so they let it go and when I said I wanted to cancel my insurance they said I owed for the entire time I've been waiting for my paperwork only ever got a 30 day slip when I said I didn't want to deal with them they threatened me with filing for cancellation for lack of payment and put it against my credit even though they had my double payment and a void check to my account they blamed it entirely on me and left with threatening emails and when I finally gave in and paid the double payment again I was left having to contact them again 3 weeks later because once again it's left to their customer to do all their work or face paying a higher premium to cancel and go with another provider
