This company is so unprofessional and I regret ever going to this company. I am not the type of person to leave reviews. I have had my license for 8 years and have been in 2 car accidents in the last 2 years and it has been very hard for me to find insurance. I finally found this place that said they would take me and I signed the papers and made my first payment and then got a letter in the mail 2 weeks later saying they were cancelling me. I was very mad that they went back on their word, but then I found another insurance company that was double the price and went to them and paid it. Then 2 weeks later Pafco took another payment from me for the following month that I was not going to be covered for and I was not expecting or ready for. So now I am out 300 dollars. I don’t even think they are going to give me my money back. Total scam if you ask me. I am not happy and I will be telling people
Got hit by one of the people they insure and have been going through hell just trying to stay afloat because these people keep trying to deny a claim that was caused 100% by their customer. Terrible company! Do yourself a favour and get a real insurance company!
If you have a good driving record in AB, you should pay around $110/month (women - $105/month and men - $113/month). Do you overpay? Get an Alberta car insurance quote to start saving.
Same experience as others! First they quote you a low price, then ask for 2 payments upfront then once you agreed and receive your Policy, you will be surprised you will pay more and add DOUBLE for what I was told it would be. SHOCKING! Jan- February then I cancelled mine after a month but they pull out money from my account first day of March and now they are saying I cannot get a full refund because of risk from Jan-March? HOW? When I don’t have insurance March day 1. They sent me refund cheque without receipt/deductions copy and the fact that I paid upfront they saying that I owed them money. My broker is not helping me enough to get my refund! WHAT A JOKE!
after signing policy and paying first and last deposit, before they could send me pink slip they increased the price by whooping $175 for no reason , that they didn't put in all factors at initial.
then offer me option to cancel within 30 days, i cancelled and i did not accept the new price , yet after cancelling they have still gone to my account so far twice to try to take payment for the new rate which i declined.
how can they still be going to the account to take payment for new rate that i declined and never signed for. secondly i am waiting for refund deposit for my first and last which they have not send yet they are still trying to get more.
what kind of SCAM company is this, how are they even still operating as an insurance company?
These people gave one quote and when paid they added more money. When we cancelled their policy they took our money and put us in collections, Eventho we did not accept them as our insurance company. They even came to our work place and demanded cash.
Horrible company
A pack of thieves.
Did you know that on average Ontario drivers with good driving records pay $1,805/year in auto insurance? Is your insurance rate higher? Get a free car insurance quote and start saving today.
I recently was in a car accident. It took me forever to get my money. I couldn't believe my check was sitting on someone's desk for six days. These people knew I was leaving the country. I had too call over and over again to finally have my money sent to the place I was moving too. It took me two weeks to get it. I paid high premiums for years. Horrible Ins. Company, and they simply do,not care about their clients. Never again!
Everything about this company is ridiculous - insurance prices are the lowest compared to everyone else for a reason...because when they need to do there job no-one knows how to and your insurance gets ever more messed up.
Do NOT recommend.

I’ve been experiencing several difficult situations with this company and unfortunately, the service is below the professional level they are extremely difficult to get a hold of with certain circumstances and issues regarding the policy that would need to be addressed with the insurance directly and also they have no patience or compassionate when they come for the monthly withdrawal out of your account. I have an account with them and I’ve been late approximately twice with the payment they have zero tolerance for someone who is struggling to pay $565 a month in insurance which cost approximately $6700 a year... I have numerous times tried to speak with them and they keep on redirecting me to the broker and also I had a situation where I was behind with payment ask for at least four days of grace. And was denied but not only denied but also told me that if this ever occurs again that I must pay the entire premium upfront which would be $6700. I find it so unprofessional this company should not be in the insurance business based only on how they deal with your customer and also there was a small claim that was put forward to them communicate several times with the broker tells me that we must call the claims department of the insurance company to put in a claim which we did took the claim department to call back within three weeks after the initial claim and still on resolve after a month prior to the three weeks that the claim was put through it is unbelievable how they stay in business, unfortunately...
