We received our renewal, our rates had exactly doubled. We thought it was an error. After several calls, we finally spoke with an associate. They confirmed that the increase was correct and that it was to keep competitive in the market. Being a couple with a pristine driving record this was unacceptable. We shopped around and moved on.
Auto and Home Insurance keeps going up another 25% increase this year with no claims, tickets, or missed payments. After several years I'm moving on - they are just too expensive with their ever increasing runaway prices.
