We have been with National Bank for over three years now and recently both by wife and I made claims for our two cars. The persons taking the calls were very friendly and helpful. Although it took some time for the claim to start, gathering all the information, after that we felt highly supported by the insurance company personnel. We could pay marginally less in a different insurer but the quality is not the same as they even offer you garages where the work was done to our satisfaction
We have auto and home insurance with National Bank and to keep us from moving our home insurance to another insurer, they lowered the liability-only premium on our vehicle to peanuts.
Our Honda Civic suffered minor damages by another car in 2009 and the claim process was very simple. We were referred by National Bank to a Civic dealer with body shop and were provided a courtesy vehicle. We are pleased with the phone service (rarely had to wait to talk to someone).

I already have home insurance with National Bank, for which I received my renewal in the mail, very clear, with all the details on the coverage and explanation for condominiums owners. My car insurance is coming up for renewal with another insurer and decided to get a quote for my car with National Bank. Submitted my request for a quote online and they got back to me the next day and assigned me an agent on the phone that took me through the whole process. I am glad to report that I signed on with NBC after substantial savings and excellent service over the phone. No regrets and highly recommend them. At the end of the day, you purchase insurance for peace of mind hoping never to have to use it!
