The application process was super easy. I didn't receive any perks such as insurance. I like the cash back of the card. It works out pretty good
It is very annoying to redeem RBC cash rewards. I have had multiple instances where I redeemed them online only to have them cancelled weeks later with no notice.
All hours listening to "YOUR CALL IS IMPORTANT TO US", and at the 2-hour mark, the connection/call waiting is cut off. In that time frame, the flight I'm trying to book disappears! CLASSIC BAIT AND SWITCH. The corporate philosophy would appear to be - We've got your points - (which is money in our corporate pockets) - GO AWAY!!
