I don't really remember the application process since I had the card almost twenty years. I love the airmile rewards.
There is great evening fantastic customer service and consumer protection with Amex card ..the card is the best out there by all standards

I enjoy the benefits of using my american express credit card. I like the option of getting double airmiles with my purchases.
No real perks to this card. Communication is sometimes a bit slow. Overall an ok card but not the best
I am very happy with my American Express card, like collecting miles.

great benefits with the air miles program especially in regards to travel use. Accumulate points faster and travel rewards are fast to accumulate.
I had the American Express “Gold” Airmiles card, for just over a year. I do not carry a balance - ever. Use it and pay it right off. Is this wrong?!? After my 13th statement printed yesterday, I took a read of it as I always do. Everything seemed normal. I logged in today on my app and noticed that my credit limit dropped from $30,000 to $1,000 without even notifying me?!? Like really?!? This is how they treat their good customers??? All the service department had to say was “A letter is in the mail!”.... No thanks. I closed it completely off at that point. Take note: my credit score is better than it was when they gave me this card. I am still working, with income in the $80,000 plus. I do not have balances all over the place. To be truthful, I was going to reduce this myself as I can never find anywhere that takes it, worthy of a large purchase to get any good Airmiles. Perhaps they are panicking over this current pandemic?!? Well news flash: DO NOT TREAT YOUR GOOD PAYING CUSTOMERS SO POORLY! Now they are one good customer, less! Never again, not that great of a card. Stick with the big banks for better service.
