I am a long-term customer, pay my bill in full every month, never late on my payment. My household income exceeds $150K, has a net worth of $2M on my house & investment. I asked for an increase of credit from $10K because I am planning to do a major purchase for house renovation. They said I am not eligible without even looking into my credit history or giving me any reasons. How unreasonable! I will take my business somewhere else.
This card gives you back 2% of everything you charge on it. Everything.
It allows you to get cash back or to use your credit towards any travel related expenses. Very easy to redeem points. Excellent travel benefits/insurance.
Has an annual fee but not for 2nd card.
Only issue is the relatively low limit on it.

The credit card had no restrictions on redeeming rewards like other credit cards. Simple and didn't have many categories like other credit cards.
I have had other travel rewards credit cards before, and this card is, hands down, the best travel rewards credit card I've ever had. There's no annual fee, and the points are easy to use with the points purchase eraser, and there's lots of flexibility. I also like how I can use the points for any airline, cruise line, rail line, hotel, taxi, rideshare, both locally in Canada and anywhere in the world globally. I've even used the points to cover airline baggage fees charged to my card at the airport, as well as meals I ordered from the aircraft. I would recommend the Capital One Aspire Travel Platinum MasterCard to anyone and everyone whose main priority with regards to credit card rewards is saving money on travel expenses.
