I bought a cosmetic product that has already been featured in a movie related to frauds, alas, I found it a little too late. There was no text indicating I will be charged 150$ 12 days after the purchase if I didn't call to cancel "my subscription". The agent from Scotiabank just said "Yeah, we know these websites where you have to agree with the terms and conditions", but I hadn't even checked a box to agree with "Terms and Conditions". They have terrible service and their staff is not always competent. Charged me 11$/mo for a year maintenance CHQ fees after my limit went below the required amount for 3 or 4 days. When I noticed that a year later when I was laid off, they reimbursed me only for 6 months. This is how they treat their loyal customers of 15 years. So I am switching banks. I recommend you stay away from them.
