I got laid off of my jobs due to COVID so I tried using my insurance to help pay my mortgage I sent in all requested documents and was still denied. Absolutely terrible I wasted 3 years of money to them to do nothing than I sell my place and they charged me 3000$ in fire insurance fees. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.

Listen to all the other reviews, this company is created to screw people over in their time of need. I signed up for mortgage insurance and paid them for over 2 years no questions asked. When it came time to start a claim they picked apart every detail they could just to avoid having to pay me out. They took information before I even started paying them and determined that I was no longer eligible because I did not work 12 consecutive months. They wanted 20 hours per week on average (which I did have), but consecutive. Had I waited 20 years to start a claim they would have said the same thing! If I paid them for a million years as long as that one year beforehand I didn't fit their guidelines I'd still be out of luck.

After 17 years they closed my account citing abandond account. Only 3 mos after last transaction due to unemployment of 21 months. Big Head Ache. Beware especially if you have been out of work for a while like a lot of Albertans have been. Still having trouble recovering "shares". What a joke Servus turned out to be. Do not recommend to anyone.
