Lowest rates. Easy to negotiate. Friendly staff. Don't need an account. Not a lot of branches however.Overall I am verysatisfied
They gave me the best rate through our broker. I haven't dealt with them directly just through our broker. Mortgage was not set up for bi-weekly like it was supposed to and we had to get it fixed which was annoying.

Do not have a mortage now - it is paid off. But National Bank was hard to deal with. I paid it off before time and NB took 8 months to clear title.
Willing to renegotiate rate when the rates dropped a lot. In addition I can see my payments on-line. The agent suggested ways to save interest by paying the mortgage weekly.
best rate and good service. Also have all my banking accounts and credit card with the national bank. great service and all explained.

Have not had much interaction since signing the original mortgage but the initial rate was what attracted me to them
I'm unhappy that we can only switch the terms of our mortgage once a year without penalty. I am locked into a ten year mortgage paying more than a percentage point than average fluctuating interest rates.
My overall the experience was fine. I accomplished my goals and paid off the mortgage ahead of time and at a competitive rate

the mortgage rate was too high after I compared to others that I didn't know about before. Agent was decent knew his stuff and clearly explained our options.
The person who set up the mortgage, was not customer-oriented and did not want to listen to me. The consequences of her actions is that I will be leaving National in the spring of next year.
