It was a renewal and done through a Mortgage Broker. I find this is better than trying to deal with the Banks or other lender institutions.
I have no issues. I have had a decent experience thus far. Overall everything has been very good.

applied through our broker and he set up the rate and terms and we make monthly payment with no issues
They have a phone line but it's useless - most questions and requests are being redirected back into email. Email is slow. They always end with the suggestion of calling the call center with further questions (where they suggest I go back to email, as noted above). Agents are poorly trained. To a question "can I do XYZ" their response would be "no". No explanation, no education - forcing you to contact them again, and again, and again. And again. And they have no managers. At least no one is available to talk to you. I requested the call centre agent to transfer me to a manager, he said I should request this through an email. Which I did and have not heard back. I've had enough. I am switching.
Dont really interact that much with them. We go through our broker. No issues so far. They have a competitive rate. No too many restrictions. Well see how it goes when its time to renew again.

Easy to deal with and also provide great information. At the time of getting my loan they were the best rate for the time period we were going for. I like that they have they online viewing options.
Application process was simple, customer service was ok, all my questions and doubts were clarified and explained in details, happy with the service.

I have done it through a mortgage broker and it was fine but I didn't get any offers or features from them.
I chose this lender because they offered the best rate however they have been excellent in terms of customer service. I especially appreciate the online access to my account and opportunity to easily change payment schedules check amortization etc. My scotiabank mortgage is a lot more awkward to manage.
