The Personal Insurance Motorcycle Insurance Reviews

I have dealt with the Personal for many years and it has, finally, come to the point where I am pulling all my business. They are the worst insurance company out there and their service is horrible. They won't insure a motorcycle that I've had for 4 years because I let my M2 license expire. I get that this was my fault and I have my M1 again, but that's not good enough for the "underwriters" at The Personal. How is someone supposed to do the Ministry test when they won't insure the vehicle that you're supposed to be tested on? When I said I'll be looking for a new insurance company the agent just laughed....clearly they have no concern for their customers.

I decided to sign up my motorcycle insurance with this company although previously I had a bad experience with them for my car insurance where they messed up my drivers license and birth date data. They charged me one premium and then upon renewal it went up. I thought I'd give them a second chance however this was a MISTAKE!!

Anyway, getting back to this story I bought my bike in May of 2015 and decided to insure it with The Personal having the best rate I could find. After the riding season was done (October 2015) I sold my bike and wanted to cancel my insurance since they told me there would be no cancellation fee. However, when I went to cancel they told me that I have to pay $500. I asked for what - they told me its to pay off the portion of the premium due to seasonal.

I will never be insuring with this company ever again. Do not insure with them - they are a scam.
