I signed up for the HSBC credit card because they have a promo where you can get $125 genius asks if you sign up through Credit Genius.
I was instantly approved on June 1.
It's now Sept 7, and I still have not received my Genius Cash.
I sent in a ticket stating that I've been approved and have never had an HSBC card before so I didn't understand why my request was rejected. I stated that I can send whatever info they need to show that I have been using the card since June 2022... No response from Genius Cash. They just kept the "rejected" status without a response.
I don't recommend using Credit Genius.
I am so frustrated with Credit Genius.
Save yourself the headache and refrain from using their site
I believed their offer of $100 cashback with the RBC credit and applied through them on Feb 3. My application got instantly approved on the same day and a physical card was mailed to me shortly afterwards. Waited 6 weeks and no response, so I reached out to customer support. Was told that they would send a request to RBC. Waited another month, no response. I contacted them again but was told they needed to wait 6 weeks for RBC to do a manual investigation. 6 weeks had passed since then and I contacted them again for the status. At this point, they totally ignored my update request. So after 3 months of waiting, no cashback, no update and no response now. What a scam company. Stay away!
Applied for a credit card through Credit Card Genius because I was promised $50 in cash. Waited 12 weeks to no avail. Tried to submit a ticket but was required to give an application reference number I was never provided with. Contacted customer service and was told I don't need this number and can submit a ticket anyways - which is a blatant lie.
Clearly, they are just collecting their commission from the Credit Card Companies and have no intention of paying out to the customers they defrauded and lied to.
