I bought a 3-month plan from BCAA & they paid up all 3 of my claims, without any hiccups.
The policy was expensive, but their service was good.
Also, their trained Staff handled all my calls promptly & efficiently.

I had issues getting reimbursed for a one night travel delay. My wife and I had separate health and delay policies, but I submitted all under my policy number because all expenses were paid by myself. I had to submit the same documents over and over because they said some were missing. The level of incompetence is mind-boggling! In the end, I figured out they were only missing the original Westjet booking, even though all the information was on the rebooking I had previously submitted. Long story short, they finally reimbursed for 1/2 of my taxis/meal/hotel cancelation expense. They said my wife had only purchased a medical policy. I provided her claim number and was ghosted. I started a new claim for her but had to step away a minute so pressed the "save draft" button. FATAL ERROR, it said she'd have to log into her email to restart the claim, but the email never arrived. I tried to log in through the application page again, but they want an "intent ID", as if anybody knows what that means. Now I'm locked out. The frustration simply isn't worth the few hundred dollars I'm due. Needless to say, I'll never purchase any insurance involving Global Excel again. A Global Failure! BCAA ought to be ashamed.
