Literally, was told I could wait 2 hours. Didn’t even hang up my phone and got a notice they were on their way, and were there within 10 minutes!! AWESOME service. We were up and running right away! Thanks BCAA.
I have BCAA roadside for about 20 years and this year I called them twice, first time they told me I had to wait 3 hrs so I fixed the problem my self and the second time I call them and they told me I have to wait 1 hr for a jump start and I have been waiting 2 hours.
Definitely is not worth $500 a year for a family plan
I could have call a taxi and jump start the car for $25 dollars.
I'm not sure about getting BCAA in 2024.
Customer service was good on the phone but waiting that long for a simple jump start.....
Had car issues. They took over 3 hours to confirm they were coming. Left car with keys inside late at night. At 5 am the next morning I find out they never showed up to get the car. The next day was Nov.11th and they were closed. Never got a message or heard from them regarding the claim. First time using BCAA and the last time. Ridiculously unprofessional company.
It took 6 weeks to fix my car after my car was hit by an RCMP ghost van doing a high-speed chase in a parking lot. The RCMP took full responsibility for the crash.
1) I called BCAA and they told me I had to talk to ICBC first.
2) I contacted Craftsman Collision to get my car repaired. They told me to bring in the car a week later.
3) The steering and front end were bent but Craftsman said seeing I only lived a mile away they would not give me a rental.
4) I told BCAA the car was not safe to drive but they refused to give me a safe car to commute with.
5)Two weeks later BCAA told me the car was a write-off and would not fix it.
6) One week later when they realized my car was worth more than they thought so they agreed to fix it.
7)Three weeks later the car was fixed but they refused to refund the $500 deductible until I got the RCMP to admit fault.
8)ICBC phoned BCAA twice to tell them they had contacted the RCMP and they were at fault.
9) ICBC arranged a conference call with me, ICBC and BCAA.
10) After that call BCAA said they would not take ICBC’s word for it and would have to investigate it themselves.
11) Two months later still no $500 rebate for the deductible.
One question - do you want BCAA auto insurance?
