Do not expect them to stop payments to dishonest merchants! There is a huge problem with fly-by-night scammers charging accounts for outrageous ongoing charges when people sign-up for FREE products online. I did accept a FREE-TRIAL offer from one of these scammers and had to provide CC info for small delivery charges...NEVER DO THIS! I never received anything from them and when I saw charges on PC Mastercard for over $100, I immediately started a DISPUTE with PC thru their online website. Didn't hear back from PC for weeks, so I called to see what was happening. Lonnnggg story short...spoke to PC twice for over an hour and bottom-line is that they not only would NOT back-charge the scammer co. but would NOT guarantee that any other FUTURE on-going charges would not be accepted by them !!! They actually are stating that they will honour any ongoing charges to my account whether I agreed to them or not. They have no interest in saving their customers from completely dishonest merchants who now have a complete blank-cheque to charge you for hundreds/thousands of your dollars for non-existent deliveries. The cust-service MANAGER actually had the attitude that because I had given my CC info to this co. that I had given them the authority to continue to charge it whenever they felt like it!!! ARE THEY KIDDING ME??? Also, their NEW website ( started Nov 15 approx.) is a complete mess with the inability to even sign-in to it. I really still cannot believe that they will continue to accept charges to your account even after disputes/phone calls are issued with them from customers. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANIES CREDIT-CARDS AND CONTINUE TO STUDY EVERY CHARGE/STATEMENT YOU RECEIVE FROM PC... you have been warned!
Froze card on Black Friday purchase, which is what I ordered the card for, to earn points back. No phone call or mention that card was declined, lost most of my online orders due to Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals were gone by the time I was sent the email. I call customer services and they are surprised I didn't get a call, say it was a security breach yet no explanation how and the only way to release it was to pay $800 onto the card asap. So, lost on cashback and no apology or service, or option to verify on the phone even though I could match all info on application. Apparently, online retailers are stating they have been getting a lot of complaints about this this weekend from PC Financial MasterCard holders, where accounts are suddenly frozen. Totally out of order, and cancelling the cards...not worth it.

I got my PC master Card hacked and 2 transactions appeared at the same place: addiction house treatment in Kitchener basically at the same time that I was in the mall updating my cell phone. I called the customer service and they said they can’t do anything because the “purchase” was made with my card and PIN number. They cloned my card for sure, but customer service just say that their card is impossible to be hacked. Just got the card blocked and waiting for the last bill to cancel the PC credit card for good, PC master card, never again. Back to TD Visa, where the customer service works!
This card is ok until you need to dispute a transaction. They are completely unhelpful. Not to be used for internet purchasing.
