Each time I call by phone the customer service, I wait at least 40 minutes before someone answers me. Unbelivable
Yesterday I needed to speak to a Capital One rep by phone . I am not joking or exaggerating....it took me more than two hours to reach a customer service representative who was willing to stay on the line to resolve the issue. Normally, I would NEVER have held for this length of time but my husband and I are going on vacation and the matter had to be resolved. And when you have already been on hold for almost an hour, the fear of beginning all over later and having to go through the same thing is beyond painful. So the first customer service rep picked up the phone after I had held for almost an hour; put me on hold and said they had to transfer me to another service rep which they said would take about 5 mins. 30 mins later another customer service rep 'picked up' and I had to provide all the same details I had provided to the previous rep starting with my credit card number! After about 10 mins when they were unable to resolve my issue, they said they needed to check with someone else and could I hold for a minute. It was 30 mins later before an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT REP picked up, and I had to start at the beginning again! I was totally infuriated by this time, told her so, she apologized and did at least stay on the phone until the issue was resolved. I told each of reps that their wait times were totally unacceptable, and that they should have a service in place, when there phone lines are busy, so that CUSTOMERS are able to leave a call back number. Unfortunately, this is the only Credit card Costco accepts and we are frequent shoppers. We will be informing Costco of the lousy customer service and perhaps if there are enough complaints Costco might consider changing their credit card.

I tried to reach customer service Waiting time 45 min No answer very unprofessional company I cannot believe a company like Costco would choose such an unprofessional company
I wasted over four hours trying to contact customer service by telephone and online chat. The two times I connected to online chat I waited 25 minutes while they transferred me to another department on both occasions it timed out and dropped the session. I have since paid off the balance and cut the card up. I have another MasterCard sourced elsewhere which Costco assures me I can use. NEVER AGAIN the absolute worst customer service anywhere.
Very unprofessional.

If your card is compromised and you want to reach customer service you can not reach them. For three days I called and hold for 45 minutes to an hour but no response. Costco should think again about this stupid company before renewing the partnership.
Do NOT get this card! Nothing but problems and 0 customer service! I tried calling over 5 times to get a problem fixed and no one cares.
Wasted 4 hours on hold the first time, 3 hours the second time and then they just say the system will be fixed within 72 hours, then again within 72 hours after the first 72 hours. No Customer Service at all. Why did Costco switch to Capital One?

Do not apply for this card. Impossible to reach customer service. The company does not want to talk to its customers. If you have a problem you are out of luck. I do not understand that COSTCO has made a deal with capital one. They should end the deal.
Things were not so bad with the old website. I also was on the phone waiting for close to 4 hours trying to log on to the NEW glorious website. I am still having trouble logging on at times. Also the so called improved new website is horrible. Whoever designed it should be fired. I hope the glitches can be worked out,but for now I would give it "0" Stars if I could. Come on Capitol One. You can do better than this.
