Customer service along with their computer / mobile banking app's are amazing. They are quick to take action on any inquiries.
I am disappointed with the support and understanding during Covid-19. My credit card has always been in good standing until now. Other companies have, defer a payment, lower interest rates, waive late/over-limit fees. Capital One’s solution to me was “how about we round it up to a number that’s easy for you to remember” the number suggested was quite a bit higher than the payment due. I know how much is due and do not have a problem remembering cents! I found it to be insulting during these challenging times.

The staff could care less about fraudulent charges. I phoned over 20 times and asked to be escalated tho the executive response committee. They disconnect every time. Won't be paying them.
Don't get a Capital One credit card of any kind, the service is awful if and when you might get it. Takes 17 days x 2 or more if and when you receive your paid statement and no assess to statement or online banking once you are planning on closing the account. Use anyone else but not Capital One.
What started as a confirmation of a purchase (wonderful for security) turned into a 15-day long marathon of phone calls hoping for someone with a clue to confirm whether airline tickets were actually paid for. Every time I phoned, I got a different answer. In the end, after the card was cancelled without my knowledge, it was easier to just close the account rather than be on hold one more minute waiting for a supervisor. And you can't escalate a complaint unless you jump through all the hoops first. Pack a lunch if you decide to phone for help.

All I wanted to do is activate my new card. Should be easy especially when I have the activation code. No problem at all. I was SO wrong. The customer service hung up on me when I complained that you guys pass my call around 5 times and I still do not know if my card is activated. This is the worst experience. I am going to cancel my new card tomorrow. I don't save enough at Costco to put up with this kind of service. Life is too short for that nonsense.
Should've got a card from a real bank. Rate is too high. No branches. Service is horrendous at best
