My fee is high but I get excellent service with this card... Insurance on the card is good.
The American Express Aeroplan Plus Platinum is not one I use. I use the Air Miles card . Both are the same I get access to the lounges at the airports

For one reason or another we were not eligible for the cash back of American Express at the office we needed to go with th we needed to go with a high interest rate card because our credit was just over 700
The American Express AeroplanPlus Platinum Card process didn't take that long
I received a very interesting offer for 25k aeroplan miles on sign up and I receive alot of bonus points monthly because I use this card alot and I travel quite a bit for work.

My only comment would be that AMEX needs to be accepted in more places in the Maritime Provinces. Also a great benefit would be the Superstore.
This card is nothing special, I use it occasionally.
I am a collector of arrow plan miles this card allows me to accrue miles at a greater rate than most other cards I am familiar with and the annual companion ticket is a great benefit
