Liars

I have been in contact with them on payment plans and here they pawned me off to a 3rd party writing that I am doing nothing and did not put in that we made arrangements on payment plans now have to pay in full before they send to collections. They have lied countless times to me and do not recommend them at all, if anything boycott these people.

Fraudulent charges on card

I lost my wallet fairly recently, and there was fraudulent activity on my card which is my fault for losing it in the first place. However, I called customer service 6 times one night. The calls kept going dead, aka not dropping. Two of the six agents could not find my account based on the info I provided based on my name/birthday/phone number I provided. I spent over 2 hours and 35 minutes having my situation unresolved. As far as I know, someone still has my card and using it fraudulently as they could not get it cancelled. There is a balance owing and I'm praying it does not affect my credit rating.

AWFUL

Desjardins is just awful to bank with. I have a visa card with them they overcharged me and later when I followed up on it they said they made a mistake and would reverse the charges. They still charged me interest on it for late payment even though I should have never been charged at all. When I called in, I was on the phone for 1 hour on hold and when the person finally answered, she spoke to me for 10 minutes, said she would put me on hold to do calculations and left me on hold for another 40 minutes before hanging up on me. TERRIBLE customer service, incompetent employees. Do NOT bank with them if you can avoid it!
