Fraud and unprofessional

I had a very bad experience with PC Insurance. After agreeing to a quote, it’s been 3 times that they changed my premium. Started taking money from my account without my consent. It’s a case of cheating and fraud. I had cancelled my old insurance by giving fines for early breakage of the policy. And this has put me under extra stress. And I made a regrettable decision by choosing them. I accepted it only as per your Quote on 07 October 2021. It’s been after two months that they are just reaching out to me about changes. As I mentioned before it’s a clear case of cheating and fraudulent scam. And I will never recommend any of their services to any of my friends or family. I regret that I have wasted my time, money and energy on something deceiving. These guys are cheating people in this hard time of a pandemic when everyone is struggling.
The quote that had I agreed…
Total Estimated Automobile Premium2: $ 2774.00
Total Estimated Property Premium: $ 1778.00
Total Estimated Combined Monthly Premium: $ 3900.71
The new premium is $ 5247 and Monthly $ 450.37 for auto insurance only.
And I was also charged extra money more than what these numbers are!
Shame on you Pembridge Insurance. You are misusing the brand name and reputation of PC for something disgraceful.
I have a car and tenant insurance with Pembridge for more than one year. In the first year, they gave me a mobile application to monitor my driving behaviour. After the first year, the app gave me a 22% discount. I cancelled tenant insurance and wanted to stay with Pembridge for the car insurance as they promised to give me this discount. Instead of it, I got much higher. First-year I had total for car and tenant insurance CAD1660. Now I have CAD1897 only for the car. I stayed with them for one year as I did not have time to look for a new company and they put a cancellation penalty (CAD250). Definitely, I will change them to another company next year, or even faster. So, do not use Pembridge.
If you have a good driving record in AB, you should pay around $110/month (women - $105/month and men - $113/month). Do you overpay? Get an Alberta car insurance quote to start saving.
Shortly after buying both home and auto policy with Pembridge through PC Insurance I received letters in the mail indicating that they did not receive my payment and I would have to pay the full policy up front as well as a $50 fee for both policies. I contacted PC financial to find out what happened as they had my direct banking info, they said I gave them the wrong information and it was my fault. I gave them the information again, and asked them to open an investigation, as I was sure I read the numbers on my cheque correctly. I received a voicemail a day or 2 later confirming that after they listened to the recording, they realized I did give them the correct banking info and it was their fault. They said they would wave the fee and they would just take the 2 missing payments. I should have checked my bank account because they did not take the payments. I got an email from PC about a month and a half later saying they just want to make sure I received the message from Pembridge that they didn't receive my payment. I called right away and asked what happened, as I was told the payment issue was resolved, they put me on hold while they called Pembridge, the representative then came back and said the policies were cancelled 2 weeks prior due to non-payment. I said that was crazy, why wasn't I contacted? She did not have an answer and said they could not reinstate my policies and there would be a 2-week waiting period for them to find me another insurer. On top of that, it's difficult to get insurance when your policy has been cancelled due to non-payment!!

Beware fraud, unprofessional and untrustworthy. We sign up with Pembridge insurance in February and I was quoted $590 /monthly for home and auto and in April they started taking about $790 from my account. I contacted my broker manager at Stoneridge insurance at Mississauga and he promised me that he will talk to insurance and get it fixed. After so many calls he told me that Insurance declines my discounts because I didn’t agree to get a device on my car but I never received any emails or text from insurance. He gave me a contact of a manager at insurance (insurance never gave you any information and told me to speak with a broker). The manager said they weren’t given my information on time by the broker and broker said he did. By that time 3 more payments were taken out from my account. So, at last, I was promised to cancel my insurance without penalty. What that wasn’t end of it? I was slapped with threats of paying a cancellation or effecting my credit scores and insurance said to speak with my broker and broker was very rude and stopped taking my calls and stopped replying my emails. At last, after suffering for 4-5 months matter was resolved with the help of my legal advisor (but I still don’t trust them).
