Terrible company

Lousy company to deal with. Had a car that was written off and they carried to give me 1/2 the value of the vehicle. Still waiting for the check 2 weeks later.

I now know why my company dropped them as our vehicle insurer all those years ago; and we had 100+ vehicles locally alone.

Do not go near this company! You will regret it.

RUN! This company is a Disaster!

In the end, they ruined my life. I had a great 47-year great record, with only one minor claim I could have paid out of pocket, but since Id never used ins, I put the claim thru - not worried at all, and my ins. was unaffected. I switched to Zenith, who came up as cheaper the following year. MISTAKE OF MY LIFE.
A speeding car slammed into my driver's door at an intersection, and told police Id( falsely) gone thru on a red light - was I drinking or something? - Shaken to the core after the impact, hitting the roof etc I just shook-so they gave me a breath test... and as the other driver and her "lawyer-like husband' created a convincing story to the officer - I was charged after they hauled over a supposed witness who wasnt even at the site when I went into the intersection to have seen it was green. Long story short - I told Northbridge to not let the other insurance blame me for their client who appeared to have lost control of speed in this Porche. No Problem they said - we have investigators.
My adjuster came and went to view the wreckage. The dealer said they'd never seen an adjuster who assessed so far in their history. Full value was paid, no problem until my insurance came up for renewal and I was denied any insurance - due to being charged fully at fault! I waited until my court hearing, in which photos clearly showed my version had credibility as the other driver was caught in 3 lies. Case dropped, free to go, innocent of all charges. Go get a copy of the transcript my lawyer instructed- your insurance to adjust your ins. MOST INS. CO.'s change accordingly with a presentation of a court investigation. I called many main ones to ask. NOT ZENITH - At first they ghosted my calls and my lawyer TOTALLY for months, so I went to their offices and got seriously reprimanded for coming to their office - it was NOT allowed under any circumstances. WOW. Finally, they asked me to jump thru all these hoops such as phoning the original officer and asking him to tamper with his statement or issue another one. This is against the LAW and I said I would not break the law. The police chief told me, they could be =charged for asking me to ask for such a thing because statements are what the court use... and furthermore an officer's role ends where the court begins- all I need was the transcript. His advice was to change INS Companies. That's a no-brainer, but Northbridge had to first correct the charge. They refused to call me guilty, and they don't cover 2 at-fault charges. You can explain till you are blue in the face- what transpired in the courthouse that it became clear to them, my story lined up, hers did not. They refused. I lost my job from being unable to pay high-risk insurance. I lost my career, which depended on driving, and then my freedom to drive as I had driven so well for 47 years, everywhere in any traffic or situation. I am now one yr away from the 5th yr my minor claim will be removed- having wasted 5 yrs of my life in house arrest- paying for a claim that is not on my record, and that I am not convicted of.
THE WORST, THE WORST INSURANCE COMPANY...

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE BUT GOOD ON COLLECTING MY MONTHLY PAYMENT

I had my car accident last Sept 27, 2022 I reported to the police right away and the next day sent my claim to ZENITH. There is an agent who called me up and he said northbridge has no idea why my claim is thru them though ZENITH is taking my payment and all my paperwork is ZENITH DOCUMENT.

I got an accident and I need a physio until now. They are not getting back to me, I did send an email, and not reply, ignoring me... When I called the agent was not around... They offered to call me back after 21 days until this time still no callbacks. I'm on hold on the phone to call them no answer.

I'm not sure if the company is the problem or the person whose handling my file. They are good at taking money from my bank account on time with no problem but when it comes to claiming nobody is there for me.

This is my first time getting a claim after 15 years of driving. Somebody hit my van from the back. I asked a co-worker if this is normal and she said that she had an accident before and her insurance is following up with her every day.

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND VERY DISAPPOINTING!

Awful

33/F/full license, no accidents, no parking tickets or traffic offenses: cleanest record possible.
Zenith charged me 350/month. On average in my small Canadian town, folks pay 110.
To make matters worse, you cannot contact them. I was left on hold for 3 hours past closing time.
Just awful guys. Keep searching!

I called to cancel my insurance plan

I called to cancel my insurance plan because we had found better pricing elsewhere.
I was told on the phone that I was the third person in line on the phone to speak to someone. I have been on hold for one and a half hours waiting to speak to someone. This is ridiculous! I will NEVER recommend Zenith to anyone for the simple fact that their customer service is awful! If you are reading this review, go elsewhere. It'll be worth your time and money to not be insured by this company.

Horrible and unethical organisation

I had my car insurance from them and when I changed my address they increased my monthly premium from $353 to $659, where all other insurance companies were offering around 300.
They never pick up the calls. It was evident that they want to make the max money out of the situation either by me paying the higher premium or leaving and paying a penalty. So I cancelled the policy at the half of the month and they called to tell me about the early cancellation penalty. When I asked them about the half-month premium, the employee said after the final settlement the company will send a cheque to my address. It’s been 3 months and no response.
When I contacted them through my broker (Inova through Costco) I’ve been informed that the employee was wrong and there is nothing the company owes me. It’s a ripoff. Unethical bunch of people working there. A big no from me and I’ll surely warn all my contacts about it. I am taking it up to the Ombudsman and see what happens.

The staff are rude & unfeeling. They treat you like a check list with the least of support. I wouldn't recommend them to people I love or I can't stand. Do yourself a favour pay the difference & leave this company to die the way they leave their clients.

Force fed

The representatives at Zenith treat you like your asking them for their paycheck. They offer no help in filing your forms. & no structure on what to expect and when.
They sent me not my doctor to a physical therapist's office that had no sanitizer & didn't refill it when they saw me try to use it.
They accessed my injury with no information on me or my accident. It was unkept & the receptionist had to eat in the same place people were being treated. It was obvious they were got a kickback for forcing people prematurely into therapy. They forced their merchandise on me no matter how I insisted I would obtain my own. I left the office in more pain than I went in... I don't recommend & they should be investigated by government.

Very poor customer service

I have been trying to contact the broker on the phone more than once for more than an hour with no success. Very poor customer service. As well my house and car insurance went up by 24.62% without having any claim, accident or ticket. I was told that this was a general increase. What an excuse!!!
