Worst phone wait times in the industry

by Moe on Jul 15, 2022
1 out of 5 stars

Do not get their credit cards, they make you wait hours to get in touch with someone if your card is frozen due to “fraudulent activity”, and they will never notify you that they froze your card automatically.

I was a fan and user for more than 10 years

by Alan Wing on Jun 27, 2022
1.3 out of 5 stars

Then in 2018 and on, my account is blocked due to small outstanding balances for a little more than 30 days. And the interest chargers they made were outrageous.
Since paying my last bill in Jan, they froze and blocked my card access. I have no balance owed. And I have no idea why they blocked my account. My only option is to phone. But I have given up on trying to reach PC Financial. This is an atrocious credit card service!

Lies lies lies

Very frustrated dealing with PC Mastercard! Got the card in the summer during a promotion of 100,000 points. Get the card… don’t get the points, advised I applied wrong:( ok. Keep the card then in December get a letter advising my card will be frozen if I don’t provide ID( keep in mind I have been using this card for roughly 6 months. 4 yes 4 hours wasted told to go to PC store to resolve.. guess what not must send on “ possibly “ secure email. Then on vacation and card is frozen! Call they want to again verify Id. Is this card worth the bother???? Caution to all!!!

Long wait times even to fix their error

by Kajal on Jan 26, 2022
1 out of 5 stars

They made an error on my account (according to them) and I have been waiting for an hour and 30 minutes counting to talk to them so they can fix an error on their end. This error has caused me to be locked out of my online account so this is my only option.

Customer Service

by Beverly on Jan 8, 2022
1 out of 5 stars

I waited 3.5 hours to report fraudulent charges on my account and to request a new card. If that wasn’t bad enough the representative on the other end of the phone was condescending and he wouldn’t answer my question why it takes 10 business days to get a new card. I don’t think it’s right that they send replacement cards using snail mail, needless to say, I’m pissed and not even sure that I will activate the card, it’s harder to get points now and God forbid you to need to call back and speak to someone. Extremely disgusted with this experience and their poor choice of employees, and please do not blame this on Covid.

Disappointed, appalled and disgusted with PC Financial services!

by Unimpressed on Jan 7, 2022
1 out of 5 stars

To say that I am beyond disappointed, appalled and disgusted with PC Financial services is a gross understatement. I've lost an entire day at work on the phone with PC. That's almost 8 hours of holding and waiting for my issue to be resolved.
I've been a PC Financial customer for less than a month and I was in the process of moving to PC Financial. However, within the space of 24 hours, my account has been restricted four times. I've spent an ENTIRE workday on the phone trying to get a hold of someone. Everyone I spoke to was helpful yet not.
THIS IS RIDICULOUS!

Randomly shut down account

by Rita Zuk on Jan 3, 2022

PC Financial randomly just shut down my account. No explanation or anything. I had never been late on payments etc. I spent hours on hold and days of emails before a response from the company.

Horrible and sketchy

by Alexah on Aug 7, 2020
1 out of 5 stars

I went over my limit and my card got suspended, so I paid everything off. I tried to close my account and they wouldn't let me because I still have optimum points. Now I call during COVID to ask why my card isn't working, and they tell me it is suspended without being able to give a reason why. Manager on the phone was really sketchy and their overall business is unprofessional

Blocked card

by Bill Haldane on Oct 24, 2023
1 out of 5 stars

Our card was blocked because we forgot and were late one payment. The notification we got was misleading because it said we had exceeded our limit (we weren't close to your limit). We have had the card for years and have paid off the total balance monthly. This was the first time we were late on a payment. I have never had a card that was so aggressive in its block.
