Our card was blocked because we forgot and were late one payment. The notification we got was misleading because it said we had exceeded our limit (we weren't close to your limit). We have had the card for years and have paid off the total balance monthly. This was the first time we were late on a payment. I have never had a card that was so aggressive in its block.
Although I have been a customer for well over 15 years and have spent thousands of dollars through pc MasterCard, when my points were stolen I was told that it is my responsibility. I am told that it is the customer’s responsibility to know the card would get compromised. As a customer this is a large risk to bear hence I canceled my PC master card and optimum points.
Customer service is not focused on looking out for customers they just follow a checklist. They should be trained better.

My account was locked without warning or explanation. I called multiple times to try to resolve the issue and was met with 3+ hour waiting times and one automatic message stating that they weren’t taking calls at the time (I hadn’t gotten through once). My account was unlocked over a year later without my knowledge. I was only notified when I got an email that my credit limit had been lowered with a threat that my delinquency would be reported to the credit bureau due to my credit card bill being overdue (one subscription that usually charges to my other card had charged to this one since being unlocked). This is the only time in my life I have ever missed a credit card payment.
This is honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had with a credit card company, and I don’t usually have complaints about anything.
I’ve had the card for maybe a total of two-three months, and I’ve gotten declined more often on it than the payment has gone through. There’s a 4k limit on my card and I’ve spent less than 40 dollars total.
My card gets locked, I call them, stay on hold for 40 minutes, and then they tell me they can’t tell me why my card keeps getting locked. They just told me that in 3-4 days a supervisor MIGHT call me to unlock my card. I asked them if I could cancel my card but they told me I have to wait for the supervisor to maybe call me back and unlock it first.
If I could give zero stars, I would. I’ve never had any problems with any other credit card company.
Deactivated my account because I "didn't use it enough" - not because I owed anything. In fact, there is an overpayment now of more than $500 on it because I was not aware.
More than 5 hours on the phone being transferred, again and again, asked the same question with no resolve, and hung up more than 7 times. Finally reached an agent who told me I should try to reinstate the account instead then would get that credit. So I went through that process.
One month later a voicemail that says I cannot be reinstated and to call THEM back. So, another 3 hours on the phone and the same scenario. After multiple emails and complaints apparently, they are sending me a cheque in the mail that should arrive in 20 days we shall see. Ridiculous customer service. This should be criminal. Who cancels a card that has an available balance that is being paid every month and actually has a credit on it???

I hate this card! They always block my card like 3 times a day. And also the duplicate transaction with different dates. I can't even use my available credit.
Don’t get this card.
I called in to authorize a purchase after it was declined. Fail #1I tried again and it locked my account for fraudulent activity. Fail #2
Tried calling in for the ENTIRE WEEK. Took an hour to finally reach a customer service representative who said the fraud team will look into it. Fail #3
It’s been more than 3 weeks, I hear nothing from them. Try to call their customer service but of course, the wait times are an hour long no matter when you call. Haven’t been able to use my card for more than 4 weeks now.
Their fraud team is terrible, their customer service terrible, and their system can’t even authorize a purchase I called in to authorize. Embarrassment. Go with literally any other bank...
Do not get their credit cards, they make you wait hours to get in touch with someone if your card is frozen due to “fraudulent activity”, and they will never notify you that they froze your card automatically.

The way customers get treated by customer service is blamed at the top. It’s July and my account has not been active since June 3rd.
There has been no notification Indicating an apparent suspension enlisting: over limit, do not go over, and respectfully I was 60 dollars to find this out on July 11th.
There is a reason why there is high turnover and low morale between customer service representatives and clients that work there. They state monthly. Statements that everyone reads big say nothing about the suspension.
If you want to sign up and get a free bag of cookies and be treated horrible sign up. Spend a lot of money online and the store earns PC points where you can buy peanuts and cracker jacks. The circus is alive and well! Thanks but no thanks

I’m sorry I don’t appreciate being put on hold for 25 minutes and then getting locked out of my account I would 100% not recommend this card
