Long wait times - joke

by fp on Mar 19, 2022

Crazy wait times - waited 2 hours and gave up.
Hire a new customer service team!!!
Having one part-time employee working 2 hours each day is not working out for you or your customers!!!

Shabby and horrid phone customer service!

by Christina Lillie on Mar 12, 2022
1 out of 5 stars

I would give zero stars if I could. Wasted 5 hours of my life which I cannot take back without being helped. The people who answer the phone (after 2 hours of being I the phone cue will just tell you to call back) Upper management should do something about this.

POOR customer service

by Spitfire90210 on Mar 9, 2022
1 out of 5 stars

Unexpected car repairs and loss of the second job resulted in missing a payment and being late on the payment after that. I called to ask for assistance in lowering the interest rate so that I could pay down the principal. I was informed that I would need to be ‘current’, all paid up, to be considered for their ‘hardship program’ and then the interest rate would be lowered. If I was all paid up and current, I wouldn’t need the hardship program! Out of all the customer service representatives I spoke to, only one understood what I was saying and he was the only one with any personality whatsoever. Their credit department called me NO LESS THAN 6 times every day! When I’d answer, nobody was there. Every time I called them, I was on hold for no less than 2 hours each time. Now, after being overdue for 3 months (I have been paying whatever I could each month) they have sent my account to a collection agency. TERRIBLE customer service and I would not recommend getting a PC Mastercard to ANYONE! Both of my kids and ex-husband have all cancelled their PC Mastercards because of the poor customer service. My other credit card company has stopped all interest for a FULL YEAR !! PC Mastercard needs to get in touch with real life.

Phone call waiting time

by Dalraj on Mar 3, 2022
1.5 out of 5 stars

Tried to reach customer service and it took me 5 days!?! The first day I waited 2 hours and gave up. Second 2.5 hours and gave up…
One day I was in the independent store and PC representative wanted to help me and he called from PC phone, I waited 1 hour thinking he can do better but still nothing. I did finally reached them and decided to close my account!
It’s just not worth my time in the future!!!

One of the worst customer services ever I had seen in 50 years from any credit card company

by SSharma on Feb 25, 2022
1 out of 5 stars

They don’t answer the phone, they charged me fees without letting me know and can’t talk to customer service until you have 2-3 hours of free time.
I had to go thru different departments to resolve the issue. I finally hung up after spending so much time on hold.
One of the worst and unprofessional services is provided by PC Mastercard.

Useless customer service!

by Randy Garrett on Feb 23, 2022
2 out of 5 stars

Anytime you call, expect to be on hold for hours!!! With the money that credit card companies make, you'd think they would want you to be well serviced! I see now that they want you to try to do everything online but, I'm sorry, that's unacceptable. They should be there always and within a reasonable amount of time. After reading the other reviews I can see I am not alone!

Wouldn't honor giving me their 100,000 points when signed up

by Glenn Michael Pears on Feb 19, 2022
1 out of 5 stars

Broken promises all around. Tried to fix but their wait times are crazy long. They said I had to use a Superstore product for the 100,000 points to kick in. Used their gas station mobil. After 5 phone calls and talking to a rude manager I cancelled the card.

Worst service

by Gg on Feb 12, 2022
1 out of 5 stars

I have been trying to call them for so long. The last 2 times I called them, I waited for 1 hour and no response and now I have been waiting for 1 hour 25 minutes and still no response. They can't be that busy to pick up the calls. I just want to get rid off their card now.

Waste of time

by Tyler McLeod on Feb 9, 2022
1 out of 5 stars

I applied for a credit card 3 months ago. I was approved and had it sent to me. I moved the day the credit cards were delivered and when I went to activate the cards I was forthcoming about this information (I waited 2 hours on the phone before I was able to speak to anyone) as I wanted another card sent to the new address for my partner to use. I was told that they could not activate the card now as I recently moved and needed to reapply with my new address. Alright fine. I reapplied within the same day after getting off the phone. I was told I needed to provide the new lease agreement so I did. I waited a month with no answer. I called back and waited on the phone (waited 3 hours this time) to be told that the information isn't correct - it was missing a signature on the lease. Nobody had called to tell me this, but alright fine. I hung up and resubmitted it within ten minutes. Two more weeks went by so I called back again and waited another 2 hours on the phone to be told that the information had not been processed and that there was no need for me to call them to follow up as they will call me when the information is processed. I doubted that, but okay. I waited another 2 weeks before calling back (another 2 hours on the phone). The man on the phone told me that they had received the documents and he put me on hold to make sure that the information was correct. He confirmed that there were signatures and that everything was correct. He told me he would put a rush order on the card as it had now been 2 months since I applied. I was told someone would call me. Three weeks later I received a call from the very same man. He was now telling me that the documents he had confirmed 3 weeks prior did not exist and that they were still waiting for me to resubmit them from 2 months ago. He said, "If you're having trouble sending the documents we can try a different form of address verification". I cancelled the application then and there. I don't understand how a company that handles money can be so unorganized. Not to mention the wait times... 2-4 hours on the phone before speaking to someone is unacceptable. Going weeks/months without receiving a call back is unacceptable. I understand it's a pandemic, but at what point do covid wait times just become an excuse for terrible customer service management? Not to mention the call representatives clearly have no idea what's going on. I received contradicting information/advice every time I talked to someone. And then to turn around and blame me for not providing the information? Man... Get it together.

Promises Points never received them

by Kimashe40 on Feb 8, 2022
1 out of 5 stars

They promise if you apply for a PC MasterCard you’ll receive 250,000 optimum points. Received my first 50,000 then waited on the phone for 2 hours two more times wondering where the rest of the points are. They inform me there is no such promotion and 6 months later I’m still here without my points.
Please read the reviews before you apply for this card it’s the worst customer service. So I just paid off the remaining balance and I will be making the 2-hour call to them to cancel my card it’s not worth the headache or aggravation that comes with dealing with this company.
RUN! There are better companies out there.
