Don’t Ever be a human being and make a mistake by paying your PC CREDIT CARD 2 times and have a credit. If you try to get your money back they will charge you. Even if you ask for a cheque. $20.00 and 30 days waiting. But got forbid you are 1 minute late with your payment, the interest is slammed through. I’ve decided to invoice them to get my money back and charge 22% interest until they pay and $250.00 for any time to resolve their inadequacies. If more people do this they may get the message.
I spotted two unauthorized transactions from a healthcare provider in the US who I never heard of as I live in Canada. Both transactions have been disputed and I ordered a new card. The PC agent who I spoke to first said that both transactions will be combined into one claim. Therefore, I filled out the only submitted document to support my claim and emailed this document on the same day showing both transactions to support the claim. A few weeks later I received a letter stating that one transaction claim has been denied. I called PC and the new agent explained to me that there is an error message on my claim and that it's not possible to have two unauthorized transactions combined into one claim. She also told me things that the other agent missed filing so my entire claim has been closed. She also said that there is no way for her to re-open that claim. This is unacceptable customer service which makes me push more business to my other credit card companies. My PC Mastercard account I closed at the end of my last conversation with them.

Unprofessionally management. My experience was with a balance transfer. Where they manipulated info and changed my interest rate from 1 percent to 23 percent without warning. The first month is okay but the second one skyrocketing. Shame for such a company.
My account was locked without warning or explanation. I called multiple times to try to resolve the issue and was met with 3+ hour waiting times and one automatic message stating that they weren’t taking calls at the time (I hadn’t gotten through once). My account was unlocked over a year later without my knowledge. I was only notified when I got an email that my credit limit had been lowered with a threat that my delinquency would be reported to the credit bureau due to my credit card bill being overdue (one subscription that usually charges to my other card had charged to this one since being unlocked). This is the only time in my life I have ever missed a credit card payment.
After so many years as a loyal customer, it is disappointing to know that when times are rough this company is not loyal to their customer. Paying the full balance is all fine and dandy until you come into hardship. I have been hung up on and transferred to departments that have no idea why I am calling. You lose your PC points at their discretion. Very very disappointed and will not recommend this card to anyone.

I was dealing with PC Financial when I had a dispute over a purchase where I did not receive the product I was supposed to get. Not only was customer service awful ( wait times over 2 hours, only to speak with a representative who was unknowledgeable about the process) but the company offered me no help at all. Even when I went to put my card on hold as a precaution, the company said they would, and then when I went to test it, didn't. It may be seen as a cheap option, but when you really need your credit card to do as it is meant to (which is to protect the user), it will fail every time. My first review I've ever written because it was an appealing experience.
Pull out your PC account!!! Not worth It!
PC Financial has the worst customer service! Promising clients and keeping them hanging for almost a month. Always telling someone will call back and up to now no one calls!
Non-sense supervisor in online or phone calls. I do suggest getting rid of your supervisor if they can't even help clients!
The customer service agents always seem lost, always have to go ask someone for help, and somehow still end up not knowing what they're talking about.
But what has prompted this review is their collections department. I usually pay bills on time, but shit happens and I've unfortunately been hearing from a number of collections departments. Most are kind and understanding. They ask why you're behind if you can pay anything, when you can pay, and try to set up a payment plan. They're grateful when I say I don't need a payment plan, I'll catch up on a specific date. PC is just dehumanizing. They make a bad situation worse and leave me feeling horrible, I wouldn't be surprised if they'd pushed someone on the edge of suicide before. My mental health certainly nose dives whenever I speak with them. I answer, and they say it's PC and I say something like "I'll catch up on Friday" and they say "do you know you owe $165?" And I say "yes, I'll catch up on Friday" and they say "if you don't pay now it will affect your credit score" and I say "I literally have no money until Friday. There is about $3 in my bank account right now." And they suddenly get aggressive and say "can you pay $65?" And I say "look, I told you I have no money, I literally don't even know how I'm feeding my family this week, I'll pay you on Friday" and they start *yelling* at me and making threats about credit scores and how horrible my life will be if I don't pay some minimum amount when I have already told them I have nothing to give. And then I start crying and hang up. And then someone calls the next day and says "oh, looks like you got disconnected" and the whole conversation happens again.
Every other company is like "you can pay Friday? Can you pay a smaller amount sooner? No? OK. We'll stop bugging you for now and watch for that payment, thank you."

This is honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had with a credit card company, and I don’t usually have complaints about anything.
I’ve had the card for maybe a total of two-three months, and I’ve gotten declined more often on it than the payment has gone through. There’s a 4k limit on my card and I’ve spent less than 40 dollars total.
My card gets locked, I call them, stay on hold for 40 minutes, and then they tell me they can’t tell me why my card keeps getting locked. They just told me that in 3-4 days a supervisor MIGHT call me to unlock my card. I asked them if I could cancel my card but they told me I have to wait for the supervisor to maybe call me back and unlock it first.
If I could give zero stars, I would. I’ve never had any problems with any other credit card company.

The most frustrating customer service I have ever had to deal with. I have probably spent 8 hours in total trying to get a hold of somebody, and a majority of the time I'm just hung up on while being transferred. I've been told on numerous occasions that I would receive a call within 24 to 48 hours from my supervisor, and 5 days later I got a call that I happen to miss. So I called back in minutes after and said "I just missed a call from management, can you please transfer me"? I was told I would get a call back within three to five business days.
On top of this I have provided two different instances of fraud on my card, they have decided to ignore it because I had given the merchant my credit card number for a transaction previously.
I would advise anyone else who is thinking of getting a PC Financial Mastercard to go with somebody else, this is by far the most frustrating credit card interaction I've ever had.
I am cancelling my card as soon as I use my PC grocery points.
The representative was not helpful at all. I asked him to explain what he just read off the paper because it was unclear what he was referring to and he just re-read the same line numerous times as pretty rude about it. It seemed as if he was only able to read a script. While I tried to explain a few things going on with the case he kept interrupting me, and I don't mean once or twice, the majority of the conversation was him trying to talk over me.
Hopefully, they recorded the call for "quality assurance"
