Long wait time and no interests of resolving any issues

They would not even listen when I tried to get them to not close the account, refused to even consider the reasons for doing so was wrong
My first credit card had a nominal credit limit of 35$ (this was 1995, so probably like 100$ in today’s funds), and I could make purchases in any amount, as long as the card was adequately funded ahead of time. I tried pre-funding the PC Financial MasterCard, yet a purchase still declined, and, after being on hold for over an hour, asking for the solution, the situation is still impossible to resolve, or even workaround. I expected more from this 21st century, but with this kind of devolution in service and features, I cannot be honestly optimistic about the progress of civilization.

The wait times are horrible with over an hour plus every time They are too cheap to get more staff. Goodbye. I am getting another card and destroying this card.
Seems like a big scam to get your 100,000 points promised I have been waiting since the end of January after they could finally get my card mailed to me. Now they are changing the rules and say I have to have a LOBLAWS purchase on my card and wait 4 to 6 weeks... such a run around that I should just cancel the card but I want those points. And I have missed out on extra point days for shoppers at least 3x now.
SO FRUSTRATING!!!
And when you call to inquire I am on hold for a minimum of 1 hour to find out they have closed the case and have to reopen it... Such nonsense... Doesn't anyone have pride in their jobs and do their jobs right anymore?
I rarely post any review or feedback on a product but I felt compelled to share my experience with PC Mastercard after 1 year.
My credit score has always been over 800. I have never missed a payment or kept a balance over 10%. I’ve spent $20k but always paid at least 90% of the balance by the due date! In short, my account is in excellent standing.
Now I just paid off the small balance that I had and as thank you they just lowered my limit from $4,500 to $1,000 with no warnings, no email, nothing! Trying calling customer service and was on hold for 2 hours and I gave up!
Absolutely disgusted by this company!
I’m cancelling my card! Stay away from them!

When transactions are downloaded for quicken and you attempt to reconcile the account, the outstanding balance (the amount you owe) shows up as a positive figure.
The outstanding balance in quicken is of course a negative number so the account does not reconcile. When I called customer service I was informed that PC Financial Mastercard does not support downloads to Quicken despite the fact that there is a link "Export to Quicken" on their website.
This does not happen with any other financial institution with which I have dealings.
I waited over an hour. I give up. I guess they are not making enough money to hire people to answer their phones...
Beware of signing up with this company if you expect you will ever require customer service... they have none!!! They spontaneously lowered my credit limit for no reason, and when I called them I waited on hold for about two hours at which point they hang up on me. You can't get ahold of them online either!!! Worst customer service from a company that I've ever had!!!

The first two times I had called I had waited 45minutes each and when being transferred it hung up each time. The third time I called I was waiting for 2 hours and spoke with Mitch.
The waiting time is absolutely ridiculous and in the end, I wasn’t even helped with why I was calling. A waste of my whole morning.

You need to wait 3 hours to get a chance to talk to a customer service representative. I have charged a $25 cash equivalent fee and I asked if it is possible to cancel it, but the answer is NO!
