I am dealing with two issues.
1. I had questionable charges appearing on my statement
2. My card has Optimum rewards linked to it. Those rewards always seem miniscule.
I notified the credit card company about the questionable charges, and they immediately offered to refund me for all of them. I am pleased and assume the issue will be resolved with very little effort on my part.
I checked my latest statement and noticed I got less than 1/10th percent Optimum points credit on my total purchases. Considering all the time I've spent trying to get set up to receive the points, that would appear to be an insult, a waste of their time and money, and certainly not an incentive to buy at the SuperStore.
They promised me a credit increase after 6 months if I kept in good standing. I did and was stranded somewhere far from home and asked for an increase for emergencies and they denied me and I always kept my account paid. They are not for customers! I decently don’t recommend this credit card.

This past spring I was tight for money. I was waiting on my tax return but the person who did my taxes messed up and I had to wait an extra 3 weeks to get my refund. I called PC to let them know my situation and I was gonna pay off my card in full. They told me I had to make my minimum payment or they would put a hold on my card, make me pay it off in full then they would decide if I can keep it or not. What kind of policy is that? I told them I wanted to speak to someone, they told me their supervisor would get back to me in 5-7 business days. Also, they have an overdraft on your credit card... and if you don't pay it down before your next expected payment. They will charge you an extra 29 dollars on top of the interest. They don't tell you that. They are crooks. I'm getting rid of my card asap. Their customer service is so poor. Save yourself the headache and avoid it at all costs.
Their customer service quality dropped so much in the past few years that I'm thinking of closing the card at the cost of having a credit check at other banks and spending my time. I've been trying to set up a simple pre-authorized payment for 6 months now. I'm a banker myself so I understand how these things work. Also, the card stops working at the cash register. The additional card that I requested two months ago is not here. Horrible experiences. Noting but frustration.
Although I have been a customer for well over 15 years and have spent thousands of dollars through pc MasterCard, when my points were stolen I was told that it is my responsibility. I am told that it is the customer’s responsibility to know the card would get compromised. As a customer this is a large risk to bear hence I canceled my PC master card and optimum points.
Customer service is not focused on looking out for customers they just follow a checklist. They should be trained better.

The worst customer service I have ever seen! Waiting time is always over one hour. Never get a solution the first time...
I contacted PC Financial to claim hardship. I lost my job due to coved and have not worked for 3 years. I was unable to make my payments. The customer service rep signed me up for a program to lower my payments. That was 1 month ago. I received 6 phone calls today from the same collection agency regarding my PC MC account. My account was sent to collections despite my making the agreed payments.
Worst credit card company I've ever had to deal with.
This card temporarily ruined my life. The fact that I can't get a full transaction history to figure out why/how I'm carrying a balance is insane and seems borderline illegal. This is only listed in the statement, which can't be copied and pasted from to put in a spreadsheet. Certain cards can only see certain transactions, and all the transactions for cancelled cards are removed from the transaction history. Support is either non-existent or completely useless, but very much looking forward to going through the painful process to cancel this card.

The most frustrating customer service I have ever had to deal with. I have probably spent 8 hours in total trying to get a hold of somebody, and a majority of the time I'm just hung up on while being transferred. I've been told on numerous occasions that I would receive a call within 24 to 48 hours from my supervisor, and 5 days later I got a call that I happen to miss. So I called back in minutes after and said "I just missed a call from management, can you please transfer me"? I was told I would get a call back within three to five business days.
On top of this I have provided two different instances of fraud on my card, they have decided to ignore it because I had given the merchant my credit card number for a transaction previously.
I would advise anyone else who is thinking of getting a PC Financial Mastercard to go with somebody else, this is by far the most frustrating credit card interaction I've ever had.
I am cancelling my card as soon as I use my PC grocery points.
The representative was not helpful at all. I asked him to explain what he just read off the paper because it was unclear what he was referring to and he just re-read the same line numerous times as pretty rude about it. It seemed as if he was only able to read a script. While I tried to explain a few things going on with the case he kept interrupting me, and I don't mean once or twice, the majority of the conversation was him trying to talk over me.
Hopefully, they recorded the call for "quality assurance"

I was charged $1400 on PC Mastercard for a service I never used. I disputed the transaction, PC said they would get back to me within 5 business days. I didn't hear anything until I called them a month later and they said no one had looked at the file, but that they would push the matter and someone would get back within 2 business days. I didn't hear back until I called another month later. They said, someone left us a voicemail on a friday afternoon and that we were instructed we had 2 days (over the weekend, while we were off the grid) to respond or the matter would be closed. We found a voicemail that was completely inaudible, which I assume is PC. We were told that they can't reopen to dispute and that the matter is closed. We made a formal complaint and again, we were told someone would get back within 2 days. It's been a month and I haven't heard a peep. After 15 years, we moved on to another provider, as we DO NOT TRUST PC WITH OUR MONEY!
