My card was recently declined by two vendors. Capital One will not provide a reason for this, and in fact, did not warn me that it would be declined in future transactions. My card doesn't expire until the end of this month and they haven't sent me a new card. I always pay the total due each month and I am no way near my credit limit ($17,000). They simply decided that they didn't want me as a customer (for whatever reason I don't know). I have emailed Costco about this but Costco has not responded.
Requested an adjustment on excessive fees, almost $300 in 9 weeks, for cash withdrawals caused by low withdrawal limits on overseas ATM's. Total refusal to hear my problem. Disgusted, I closed account and now they blackmail me by withholding my $180 cashback earned as well. Great customer service, would not recommend this bank or credit card to anyone!

Costco capital one mastercard provides very poor service. I made the full payment of $6000 one week earlier than due date, still they withdrew another payment from my account on due date. When I callled, they are not willing to refund money. It is poorly managed card, planning to cancel it. Also very hard to increase credit limit for this card as compared to other credit cards.
The credit limit on this card is not high enough for my monthly purchases. I was told by call centre staff I had to wait 6 months and the balance must be paid in full. This has now been done...I even have a credit. When I called today I was told that my request was denied. Not very happy about this. Do not appreciate being charged if I go over the credit limit. Is that how you reward good customers? I will no longer use the card for purchases at businesses other than Costco.
The card is okay currently. Will not work in mobile wallets. Fees are high. Today received updated agreement. All fees are increasing across the board. No additional services. Just increased fees. Pretty poor relationship and service to offer. Nothing but slam existing customers for being customers.
The only reason I got this card was to shop at Costco.
They have switched their online banking service which they originally said would be done by September 18th but then without any notification now say it is September 25th.
Today when I tried to re- register for online banking , it asked me for my information and then said the information was invalid which was false. I had to phone the company wait on hold for at least 20 minutes to be told they had moved their change date to September 25th. Why the heck did it not say that when I tried to re-register? !!!! Where is the communication and consideration for their customers. It is lacking.
