They decide to issue me a new card out of a blue without letting me know. No warning at all, you find out 1 day that your card does not work. I called to ask and the representative on the other end is totally useless just like talking to a bot. All the replies were I don't know, I understand your frustration... Not sure why Costco will choose 1 of the worst credit card company.

I’ve had this card for over 2 years. Capital One has refused to increase my useless $4,000 limit. I have called countless times and no one can tell me why. I have perfect credit and have never missed a payment. My visa has a $17k limit. They can’t tell me why my father in law on a limited fixed income was approved for their card with a $7k limit. I can’t wait to cancel this card.

I'm shocked what a bad card it is. I used the card for half a year. I paid off constantly on time. Recently I stopped using it often and noticed that my current balance is much higher than I spent money from the card. I counted all transactions and all payments and my amount came out 2000 less than they indicated. Tried to resolve with customer service and no results...

With this Covid-19 situation right now and you want to go online shopping then the next thing you find out was tour transaction is declined which is so frustrating. I even call to report that unauthorized use of my account and the only thing they can say is "call after three weeks". And I call after 3 weeks then they told me to wait for 30 days and call again. They should not offer any credit cards if they can't handle simple problems like this.

This credit card is a complete scam where one star is too much. My Costco membership unknowingly expired during Covid19 so Capital One cancelled my credit card. This is not the first time they have done something stupid. I had been standing in line on a Friday afternoon waiting to pay for groceries when I found out Capital One has closed the account. No warning whatsoever. This company should not be allowed to offer a credit card.

I haven't received my cash rewards since January. After calling multiple times, their best response is that I have to wait another 3 weeks. This has been going on since February! It is a $600 reward that I earned and they have no interest in solving this problem.

I was laid off from my job and missed 2 payments, my interest went up to 25%, I've made every payment for several months and they won't lower my interest back until a full year. Talk about a company taking advantage, and that 19% isn't enough for them... they need to get extra out of you. Customer service is reading from a book, slowly, but still reading.

Needed last name changed. I called the first time, was directed to the store. I went to the store, was told to call in. I called again— no records of my first call. The call centre representative with the Filipino accent kept interrupting me while I was talking and never apologized for anything. He said I must mail certain documents. During COVID-19 they want me to go to the post office and mail it. He said I may fax but he gives no guarantees that it will be processed. Asked for supervisor— got transferred to a lady who listened and apologized. She said it’s okay to fax and will be processed. Their call centre representatives are not on the same page with the procedures. Rewards aren’t that great as other cards. The app is extremely long to update payments received. At the end of this, I decided I will not use this card anymore for anything again except for Costco gas. Huge disappointment

Like another user here, my card was declined during a grocery run. For no reason. My payments had all been done on time. They keep charging at least 24,9% throughout the pandemic.

In these difficult times during covid 19 crisis, when all other banks are being lenient towards customers, Capital One Mastercard blocked my card without a warning for late minimum payment by 8 days! On the card with a limit of $15K, the minimum payment was only $69 and available credit of $12k. This is sad that the company assumed that I must be going through financial difficulty for not making my minimum payment therefor securing their own interest. I told the agent that I already made a payment of $600 unaware of the fact that my card was blocked. She still said nobody in the whole company has authority to remove the block until the payment is received at their end. I don't expect much from them but this is harsh!
