Paid the full amount of my purchase (900$) as soon as I received the statement at the EconoMax store where I purchased the item. I have a receipt for the payment but between Desjardins Visa and EconoMax, they can't track down the payment. EconoMax does not dispute that I made the payment in full. The incompetency seems lay squarely with Desjardins. They are asking me, not EconoMax to prove that the payment was made. 2 hours of my time lost because of their gross incompetency and they still haven't figured it out yet. Luck for Desjardins, they seem to have little to no competition in Quebec. I hope that changes soon.
It requires user ID but not password, then it shows error. They make it impossible for us to acces our balance!

After a year of paying off my credit card online statement, they reached out saying I owed $1,500 that was nowhere to be found online. The website is useless and very user-unfriendly.
Terrible experience. Would never recommend using this service if you use online banking at all.
I have a Bestbuy credit card through Desjardins, we just paid it off and now they cancelled it because they no longer have a contract with the Bestbuy store.
The second problem - we have a leon's card as well and another visa classic card, we have been making payments on time and always paid off the cards, so today my aunt applied for the leon's card they declined it and I was the co-signer to make sure and they still decline it for no reason, my credit is good, this is very disrespectful since we already in business and I been making payments, on time, so you know what I will close all my accounts with you for this disrespectful action declining my application, and I hope everyone and every business will stop dealing with you.
Desjardins is just awful to bank with. I have a visa card with them they overcharged me and later when I followed up on it they said they made a mistake and would reverse the charges. They still charged me interest on it for late payment even though I should have never been charged at all. When I called in, I was on the phone for 1 hour on hold and when the person finally answered, she spoke to me for 10 minutes, said she would put me on hold to do calculations and left me on hold for another 40 minutes before hanging up on me. TERRIBLE customer service, incompetent employees. Do NOT bank with them if you can avoid it!

Customer Service is not their middle name. Absolutely horrible in their attitude. In 2018, we obtained appliance financing through BRICK. We received monthly email payment notices from Mid 2018 to May 2019 which we kept paying up to date. They stopped sending email notices afterwards and 4 months later send a paper notice with huge interest charges. We talked to them that the interest charges were not justified because the lack of communication was at their end. Their agents are trained not to listen and be rude. Regardless in Oct 2019, we not only paid the previous balance but also paid the next dozen installments in advance because we did not wish to deal with them. They put us on a credit card default. We called them up and asked them to correct our credit bureau but the representative on the line doesn't seem to have any common sense. I will shortly be moving the matter to court and claiming damages.
I called them this morning and because we already made a partial payment for this month, not only do we have to complete this month's payment, which isn't even due for another 2 weeks, they will only defer 1 month. 1 month? Have they not heard the country is falling apart and we are all out of jobs? Thank you, Desjardins, for causing more stress in an already stressful time.
They added a 3rd party scam insurance to my card, and it cost me more than the card. Absolutely refused to assist me to get my money back. Avoid!

I can't even count how many times I've had difficulty with their automated system. Hanging up on me and not even allowing me the option or chance to press the button. If by some miracle I do get through I am able to hear my information about when wanting to speak to a representative directly. The minimum whole time that I've experienced is no less than 30 minutes. Currently, as I write this I have been on hold for over 1 hour waiting to speak to someone for one piece of information which I cannot access online or through their automated system. Incredibly frustrating and good chance I will be cancelling this card once I've actually reached a human being.
I have been a Visa Desjardin customer for over twenty years. Recently my credit card did not process, I called in to be advised my account is closed. Why I asked, because they no longer have a financing program with RONA, I stated I have a Desjardin Visa and have not financed with Accord D Financing since 2002. To that, they stated they sent a letter in June 2020, to which I did not receive and nor has my address changed. The letter was to be resent over two weeks ago and nothing again, been hung up when trying to find out what's going on, I receive two statements since these statements from this company all showing everything inlace. Reporting to credit bureau regularly. Weird place
