They owe me over 500.00 dollars and won’t pay me back! I've been calling for a month...
Overpaid the card and didn’t send the cheque, even called in for customer service then tricked me to call me back but never did. Can’t believe this is a still-running company in Canada.

There's this music school leave pending a transaction for personal coaching announced on their website but, in the end, the instructor was not available for teaching.
When I called Desjardin, they had nothing better to tell me besides that there was nothing could do and something about Visa international politics. I don't care how it works overseas, in Quebec, I am supposed to be able to cancel the transactions on my credit card if I won't get the service I paid.
Customer service is awful! If you stay at a hotel and they authorize more than the total, this company won't release the extra for 30 days. The hotel even called to ask them to release it (on my way back I stopped so I was in front of them while they called) and it still took 4 more days (a total of 14 days). I heard another lady say this company holds for 30 days, so that's how I knew about the 30-day hold. Customer service does not want to help you. Cancelled my card. I don't need the stress of having a card like this.
I lost my wallet fairly recently, and there was fraudulent activity on my card which is my fault for losing it in the first place. However, I called customer service 6 times one night. The calls kept going dead, aka not dropping. Two of the six agents could not find my account based on the info I provided based on my name/birthday/phone number I provided. I spent over 2 hours and 35 minutes having my situation unresolved. As far as I know, someone still has my card and using it fraudulently as they could not get it cancelled. There is a balance owing and I'm praying it does not affect my credit rating.

They do not close your account after being fully paid. They do not even send you an email that your account is closed. You have to rely on what their agent has said that it is close. Online statements are not clear. Very misleading. Not even a 1 star.
I love when I try to use my card and it declines multiple times so I call the company because of course that nightmare of an app is useless, to find out my card has been discontinued and they are no longer providing me service. I thought it was a scam because who does that?? Horrible customer service!!!
The customer service has always been “peppy” but USELESS. They talk in customer service cliches and offer you little to no solutions to your issues. My card expired, and I’ve been waiting almost 2 months for my new card to arrive. I’ve had bills attached to the card bounce, I’ve had service providers drop me due to the card not being updated, I’ve wasted hours of my time on the phone with customer services trying to figure out where my card is. In fact, they have mailed out TWO cards with my name and identification that have yet to arrive at TWO separate locations. This is a ridiculous credit provider and the bonus dollar program is a pathetic rewards system. After four phone calls begging them for a solution, I’ve moved on to another provider. Not only will I never use this card/account again (if one of the cards ever shows up) but I will be taking every opportunity to spread the word that this is a horrible card and provider.

The worst credit card company ever. I missed a small portion of my previous payment and didn’t realize it. I talked with one of their representatives on the phone who assured me that I could pay the remainder with my current monthly payment we scheduled 4days from then.
I made the payment exactly when I said I would, but they didn’t register it, claimed it was a missed payment and dropped my credit rating 40points. They were very capable of putting a request in to the credit bureau to reverse the results of their own mistakes but refused. I’m now on a 6month suspension for missing the payment they screwed up..lol.
Their customer service is horrid. Avoid dealing with them at literally any cost.
I had a credit card through this company. They failed to inform me when they were no longer working in partnership with The Brick, so I had to find that out on my own when my card was denied. I then called them to pay off my final balance and the person on the phone said multiple times that it was my last payment, and I even confirmed if I could cut my card, and she replied yes. However, I continued to get bills in the mail. I spoke with someone on the phone and asked if they record conversations with their customers, and he said yes, so I asked him to look back and find the recording of their staff saying it was my last payment and that I could cut my card. The man said there were no notes and no such conversation was recorded. What a bunch of crooks... Stay away from this company!
