I would not recommend any dealings with Desjardins bank Representative allowed one party to not disclose financial information to the other party while applying for a mortgage between the above two parties... When questioned about this fact he said it was fine and okay to do such? For this reason, I would strongly not recommend any dealings with this financial institution.

Great process customer service was awesome with our rep. She treats us like family. Love the bank much more personal than a traditional bank
Everything was easy clear and simple. The staff was super knowledgeable and the had competitive rates in which they adjusted for me as I had a first better offer from another institution and the caisse did even better then that offer
Some of it was my own fault for not reading but they got me to sign papers by telling me it was something else

To be qualified I was k because I was in a good financial situation but when you have trouble payment in feel like they don t care about you problem you have too pay and that it. This not with everyone some of them was understand but they had no power to help. Now I'm on a better financial situation so nothing negative to say now
I think it was ok nothing great nothing bad. I don't think the service is any better then other banks. There interest rates are competitive
It does the job. I can't complain about it. The rate is about average for the market.

DO NOT go to Desjardins for mortgage financing and REALTORS if you have someone with a pre-approval from Desjardins make sure they get another institution to verify.
We got a pre-approval with Desjardins. They told us we were set to go shopping, so we did. My parents even travelled to go look at places together. We got an offer approved and when we went to finalize our financing it took almost two weeks to get someone to answer our phone calls/emails. We kept stressing our financing deadline date and when we finally got through to someone it took another 4 business days for them to deny it and said that due to a mistake on their end they could not do anything to help us (keep in mind that we did not change ANYTHING in our finances during this time to ensure a smooth process). They essentially gave us a faulty pre-approval and did nothing but send empty apologies instead of trying to work with us. We were obviously very stressed because we had already done the home inspection.
Luckily our realtor set us up with another institution and we got our financing approved in a day. Everything worked out for us because we went outside of Desjardins, if we had kept trying to work with them we would have missed our financing deadline only to receive excuses. We currently have car insurance with Desjardins and will be canceling.
