I have a good experience claiming in the past in one instance but in another instance I have had the worst, so I don't know what to tell. I find some of the adjusters very rude and have no customer experience at all. It's actually very embarrassing. They have no empathy for people.

ICBC is THE cadillac of auto insurance companies. They are more than helpful, experienced and what I have found over several insurance claims is that they are very human and compassionate. It doesn't matter who I have talked with or dealt with on any of my claims, you honestly feel like they really care about you and you are not just another customer. Everything is done to make the claim go as fast as possible, they call to make sure you are getting everything you need and while I didn't always like the decision they made I completely understood why they had to make it. Everyone always took the time to explain why to me, no one ever was dismissive to me and my 300 questions, they took the time to make sure I understood and was ok with the decision. Never did I feel like it was "just because that's the way it is". I wish all public companies operated the way ICBC does and hired such caring and compassionate staff.
