Absolutely awful

Constant lack of communication.
They know they have the upper hand so they keep ignoring messages and having to cover for expenses.
My recovery specialist just decides for himself and does not follow the guidelines of ICBC. When I send links to articles and guidelines he doesn’t like it when I question things, and he shuts me down.
This should be illegal.

Campbell River Front Desk HELP. She went the extra yard !!!!

My truck had received a crumpling dent while I was having breakfast at a Willow Point Restaurant. I am hearing impaired and the phone in the lobby would not work for me. I was about to leave and return home to try on-line, when she said. “Use your i-phone and phone me here I will pick-up and then route your direct to. So using “Bluetooth” I was able to accomplish this and quickly provide details for the initial report (ps the lady who brushed the truck left a nice note on the windshield). The lady handling the call was polite and efficient handling my claim. I later with the file number provided photographs of the truck and the letter under the driver’s wiper. All in all it was a rewarding experience of the Human side of a very large business.

A joke

Regardless of whether I should bear 100% responsibility for this car accident or not, ICBC's treatment of me has been highly inappropriate. Their actions subjected me to a distressing experience, leading to both mental stress and additional physical pain.

Throughout my interaction with ICBC during the claims process, there were concerning instances of wrongful treatment and unfair practices by ICBC staff. Initially, they altered my information to place the blame entirely on me for the accident. When I discovered these discrepancies and requested corrections, they did make adjustments but continued to assert that the fault lay entirely with me. They even provided reasons to support their decision, which appeared biased.

I also have particular concerns regarding the communication and responsiveness of ICBC staff members. Their communication with me has been notably lacking in terms of timeliness and accuracy. One sent me a few emails to which I responded, but regrettably, there was no subsequent reply. Furthermore, he has not engaged in effective phone communication, resorting only to leaving voicemail messages, and he has not responded when I attempted to return his calls. Another instance is other rep, who emailed me a report detailing ICBC's work on my claim case. However, the information in her email appeared to be inaccurate, suggesting that ICBC's record-keeping processes may be less than precise.

I find Jackie in the North Vernon office to be very knowledgeable & accommodating. She is my “go-to” person when it comes to insurance. If she doesn’t know the answer to my question, she’ll always get the answer to me shortly.

ICBC = criminal enterprise

I paid for 12 months of insurance.I only used 7 but was only refunded for 4 instead of 5 months.I was also charged $22 refund license fee and $30 cancellation charge.Are you kidding me?My car died-had to give it to a wrecking yard(on my birthday to boot)and I get punished by ICBC like losing my car wasn't enough punishment.Even with the very best mathematician - it still doesn't add up. 5 months of insurance costs $534. $52 in stolen money for zero reason.I was refunded only $420.They stole over $100 of my money after losing my car.I registered and insured the car I purchased yesterday and still I am being punished. What?Do they seriously expect a person with absolutely zero money to keep and insure and pay to park 2 cars?I am absolutely furious.I received the rudest service EVER from an incompetent agent. I live on a disability pension where I earn a whopping $998 per month.I am $700 in the hole and apparently going to stay there because my money was stolen by this agent.

I can not believe this company, they can't even follow their own rules, and I swear you can ask one employee a question and ask the next right beside them and you will get two entirely different answers, and if you move away like me, GOOOOOD luck cancelling your insurance. They will give you run around after run around, hand in all your documents and do what you are supposed to and they will still take out money for insurance that is no longer exists and then tell you they can't cancel the plates till they have the old ones back well that's a lie its a 16-30 dollars charge clearly listed in the email they send you about the cancellation and how you can go about it, it been over a month now I have my safety and new plates going on another plate payment in another week, and I'm still seeing ICBC take 210 out of my account! The experience I've had with this company is unreal if it was any other company or business they would of gone out of business. I have sent one more email about this as they are only open during the hours I work, and if it isn't resolved I have to close my bank account due to these people. Every other insurance company in Canada would of had these plates cancelled the first day. Here we are a month later.
