Worst experience ever! They don’t pay for the repair even if you are not at fault! Worst adjusters not even deserving 1 star!
What happened to fair prices? I was shocked by your vehicle insurance quote. Why are you penalizing good drivers?
Did you know that on average Ontario drivers with good driving records pay $1,805/year in auto insurance? Is your insurance rate higher? Get a free car insurance quote and start saving today.
Customer loyalty and service mean absolutely nothing to Cooperators, been with them for 3 years. Communication is very rude especially when you enquire about discounts, they tell you to cancel your policy (not mentioning a cancellation fee). They would not return your calls and send two-liner emails for your queries. Their refund is peanuts, they take back a huge chunk under the name of 'cancellation fee' with no proper explanation even if you call them. If you could choose another insurance company please do!
They stole my money.
I cancelled early 15 days and they don't pay me back also they make a 115$ extra for my monthly payment for no reason ...
I was faced with a compulsory auto insurance charge to appear before a prosecutor because Cooperators cancelled my policy in Oct 2020 with no form of notification during a global pandemic over 1 payment declined. After tireless conversion with the Cooperators mo willing to issue me a letter stating I wasn't notified before they cancelled my policy. I have it on record, that there're no proofs that Cooperators contacted me. Cooperators intentions were premeditated and have no plans of taking responsibility to issue an apology, letter after all indications, you failed to follow due procedures even though I had updated my online account preferred contact method as specifically by phone in Sept 2020
If you have a good driving record in AB, you should pay around $110/month (women - $105/month and men - $113/month). Do you overpay? Get an Alberta car insurance quote to start saving.
What is the point of calling and speaking to a representative to only find out that they made a mistake and that the policy you previously agreed to on the recorded phone call is incorrect and now a new representative is apparently the specialist who will magically learn how to do the one job that they were hired to do and fix the last persons mistake...
Not very useful
Cancelled my auto policy due to 1 single missed payment. Never informed me of this (claimed a letter had been sent to my house) also allowed me to set up house insurance shortly after, and neglected to inform me that my auto policy had been cancelled on me. Then set up a new auto policy a month later and apologized, then revoked it a day later. Have put me in a bad situation, extended family moving all insurance to another brokerage. Had been with Kingston Ontario for over 20 years. Stay away from Cooperators. Save yourself...
This company is terrible.
Absolutely zero customer service.
Zero reliability and zero understanding.
Wanted 700 dollars to cancel!
Criminals!
I talked to a live representative today on the phone trying to get insurance for my new G2 driver. I was quoted one thing and when I altered the policy to try to reduce the cost for them the policy was actually more money (ie. increased deductible and comprehensive amount/decreased liability). This person has been insured before under our policy that we have had for 25+ years. We also added a tent trailer which the last person was paying $125 for and we are paying over $200. There wasn’t any valued customer discount.
Over and above by not 1 but 2 Advisors!
I called from home 10 minutes before closing on a Saturday afternoon to see if I had time to get my car insurance renewed. I completely forgot it had expired the day before and the office was located just around the corner.
Unfortunately, due to Covid, the Insurance Advisor who answered my call worked from home. Instead of simply replying she couldn't help, she immediately contacted the lone Advisor at the office to see if he could hold the doors open for me. He agreed!
The in-office Insurance Advisor, Arash, quickly completed my request with grace and professionalism, despite an unusually busy day.
Thank you Co-Operators for hiring amazing Advisors!
