Had a claim where I was hit in the passenger side rear wheel by a distracted driver while entering the hotel parking lot, you will never believe who they put at fault. Cooperators service advisors who handled this claim cost the company and I think they should have been fired for their stupidity.
The initial people who answered the phone did not do their job. They just transferred me from one person to another, so I was never able to provide full information about the accident. Even though the other person admitted fault, Cooperators said that I was at fault. Apparently, when an accident takes place in a mall parking lot the damage claim is split 50-50. However, if one of the parties was backing up, that party is considered at fault. Cooperators never even contacted the other party, although I provided their contact information. The worst experience I've ever had. DO NOT EVER BUY INSURANCE FROM THEM.

The Cooperators are not there for you, they back down from other insurance companies eg. I had an incident and Cooperators did not back me even though I wasn’t at fault and another insurance company got away with accusing me of being at fault because their client was at fault because she was a distracted driver. Do not trust Cooperators, go to a more reliable insurance company, someone who would back the truth.

We recently had an accident with our vehicle, not our fault. I contacted Cooperators and spoke to Shelly in Newfoundland. She took care of everything for us. Her knowledge and professional service were exceptional. There wasn't any stress to us she took the time and listened to me and made me feel at ease I also spoke to another one of your adjustors sorry I forget his name but both he and Shelly are exceptional employees. Thank you so much, Cooperators and Shelly and the other good employee. Really appreciate everything. Got our vehicle back excellent on the repairs!

I was t-boned in the rear by a distracted driver well entering a hotel parking lot, and cooperators accused me of being at fault.
Worst experience ever! They don’t pay for the repair even if you are not at fault! Worst adjusters not even deserving 1 star!
I’ve had two claims (still ongoing) where both have been deemed not-at-fault yet BOTH adjusters have treated me like a burden like I’m irrelevant and have not even done the bare minimum to get my claim resolved what’s best for the client. The 3rd party is responsible for the damages yet the Cooperators adjusters act as tho it is coming from their own pockets. I highly recommend avoiding them at all costs, they do not even support you or treat you with an ounce of respect when you are not at fault, I couldn’t imagine the ordeal you would be subjected to if you are at fault for an accident. I’ve been with them for 4 years and once these claims are resolved I will be immediately moving on. I wouldn’t even give 1 star.

Crossing the road to enter the hotel parking lot, the road was clear, no traffic in site, as I was entering the parking lot out of nowhere a white car appeared and hit me in the rear passenger side rear wheel, obviously, the driver was distracted, yet insurance company sided with the distracted driver and accused me at being at fault, unbelievable.
