PC Mastercard product is the worst product on the market, with poor customer support, extremely long wait times, and customer service representatives who aren't trained, don't know what they are talking about and their advice varies from one customer service agent to another. Really frustrating trying to get anything resolved. I am a customer for the last 5+ years and only recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with customer support since my card was involved in fraudulent activity.
PC MasterCard obviously does not respect their customers time. The card has decent return if you shop and gas at PC stores and affiliates but who has 1+ hours to wait and speak with a live representative?
One time I was informed by an online representative that I would be contacted in person, approximately 2 days later I received an email stating I would not be getting a callback and to call the generic number.
PC MasterCard customer service doesn't deserve the 1-star minimum rating. I live in a small community with limited grocery options so the PC MasterCard makes sense. If I lived in a larger hub with more options, I would not give them my business.

I've been trying to get through to them for over 2 hours...
Their app doesn't let you remove authorized users.
PCMC you really need to hire more people to reduce your phone wait times. No excuse for such lengthy waits. Your customers have lives that need to carry on instead of just hanging around waiting for someone to answer the calls. No option for a callback was given.
-Compromised Transactions were correctly removed from the card
-New Card never arrived
-Called in for a repeat request
-Was sent the same compromised Card number meaning the card was never cancelled
-Used Card was rejected
-spoke to CSR again after 45 min wait;
Told me the card would be expedited but needed to talk to another CSR
- Asked if I needed to wait more time; no would be quick according to CSR
- waited another 45 min and I needed to go out and hung up
Conclusion: Presidents Choice Master Card does not want Business. I am considering another Master Card which offers comparable money savings.
Message: We are currently experiencing long wait times is misleading as I have heard this message for at least 5 years. Be honest with your consumer. Let them know you prefer online instead of a phone. Believe me - We are capable of understanding.

Wait times are unreasonably long, in excess of an hour. This is unacceptable given the many options for comparable credit cards. Do better.
My first credit card had a nominal credit limit of 35$ (this was 1995, so probably like 100$ in today’s funds), and I could make purchases in any amount, as long as the card was adequately funded ahead of time. I tried pre-funding the PC Financial MasterCard, yet a purchase still declined, and, after being on hold for over an hour, asking for the solution, the situation is still impossible to resolve, or even workaround. I expected more from this 21st century, but with this kind of devolution in service and features, I cannot be honestly optimistic about the progress of civilization.
Beware of signing up with this company if you expect you will ever require customer service... they have none!!! They spontaneously lowered my credit limit for no reason, and when I called them I waited on hold for about two hours at which point they hang up on me. You can't get ahold of them online either!!! Worst customer service from a company that I've ever had!!!

No definitive answers when asking questions, getting shuffled around on hold repeatedly.
Not to mention they were rude when I tried telling them how frustrated I was.
I used to have this card many years ago. This was before the Loblaws and Shoppers Drug Mart points programs were combined. I paid off the card and closed the account at my request because of very poor customer service. The small rewards I received were not worth the frustration. Today, in 2022, my credit report still shows that my account with a status of Open, an available credit limit, but no activity. I have no confidence in the accuracy of the data they send to credit bureaus. Ironically, I just received an email invitation offering me a pre-approved account. No thanks. I checked the other reviews here and it appears things have got much worse with this company. My advice is to stay away. There are much better credit cards out there where you can get more value in rewards compared to the stingy 1000 points for 1$ standard offer from the current PC Optimum program. I still collect Optimum points when I happen to be in a store, but I use a different credit card than this one.
