Waiting time

The worst customer service I have ever seen! Waiting time is always over one hour. Never get a solution the first time...

Awful Wait Times and Horrible Customer Service

I used PC Financial MC for over 15 years until I lost my card and asked for a replacement over the phone. This was the first time I have ever called PC Financial and I was put on hold multiple times and every time they hung up on me or if I did reach a human, they would transfer me and then I would have to wait another 45 minutes. This is just ridiculous customer service to either hang up or transfer to another person. I think this one time I waited almost 3 hours. After reading all these reviews, I am glad I am not the only one who experienced this! After requesting a replacement card which I was told would come within 14 days, which it did not - I called them again after about 1.5 months and then they expedited a replacement card through courier but it had the same number as my lost credit card... Are they not supposed to change the number if my original card was lost to prevent fraudulent activities? This time I decided to try using their website to ask instead of waiting 3+ hours on the phone and they said they would send another replacement card with a different number. Again I waited another 1.5 months before FINALLY then sent me a brand new card.... so I was out of a credit card for almost 3 months!!!

I finally called PC Financial today to close my MC account. AGAIN I was put on hold for another 45 minutes waiting for someone to pick up and when they did, I got someone who kept repeating herself over and over again, "Hello, this is M_____, how can I help you?" x3 and I kept telling her (politely and calmly) that I would like to close my account. She blatantly ignored me and repeated her name again and again. She sounded really annoyed and said "HELLO??!!! If I don't hear you, I will hang up in three seconds." And of course... they are notorious for hanging up on customers and so she did! I was calling from a landline and I was using it earlier on another phone call so I know my phone was working and I do not have a mute option so I knew she could hear me but she chose not to. I don't really understand this company and the shame of hiring someone like this person who picked up my call.

I ended up calling again and waited almost an hour this time and then finally managed to get a person to pick up. This time the agent seemed happier to help. I'm just crossing my fingers that they did close my account!!!

Every time we call, it's an hour or more wait time

They need to hire more customer service representatives.
Every wait is over an hour... I am currently on hold as we speak and have been on hold since 9:30. Right now the time is 10:50 and I still have not been taken off the hold.
Have done several errands and even called a different company to ask for a return in the process.

This credit company's PC Mastercard is awful! I can't get a hold of them to cancel it. I think I will start making phone calls calling my lawyer and him what to do. DON'T GET THIS CARD! YOU WILL REGRET IT!

What happened to customer service?
I'm looking for another credit card. Don't waste your time with PC Mastercard.

Bad service

Nowadays it's easy to just blame it on the pandemic.
It's just outrageous. I had to wait for more than 1 hour just to transfer to another call and got disconnected on the course.
I understand due to pandemics it is a bit hard, but I don't this is anything related to that.
If I had an option for negative stars I would have gone with that.

Cancelling

I'm just trying to cancel my deceased father's credit card and have spent a total of 7.5 hours on hold over the past 2 weeks to try to get a hold of a customer service representative. Absolutely insane and would never recommend it to anyone!
