Capital One decides to change the process and still waiting for rewards cheque. Mailed Feb 3rd and reprint Feb 20th and Customer services advised must wait 2-3 weeks. If not received again, the only option to request another reprint and wait 2-3 weeks. What a scam! Pay my bill in full each month and never late. Why should I wait for the rewards I earned?
They charged me 29$ for the over-limit fee twice! The worst credit card ever! I need to cancel this card immediately.

Signed up. They never sent out the card. I had to call and several times. Finally, I received it in the mail! I asked for a replacement card because my wallet was lost. The card never issued. 2 phone calls. An hour and a half later, I finally gave up and cancelled the card. Oh! And they don't send statements!
I usually pay my accounts either right after purchase or every two weeks when I get my incomes. I just tried to make a purchase and was told my card was blocked. I called and customer service said my card was blocked because I missed the last payment. Blocking the card to a customer who pays regularly and is late for a few days! Really? Let's say I had something else in mind this month while in hospital for major surgery and then at home trying to recover from surgery... This card is not reliable. Now I will use this card only for purchases at Costco. Nothing else. I don't care, I have other cards.
Limit on this card is typically low and getting a limit increase is difficult. They charge $29 over-limit fees and will not provide an option for just declining over-limit charges. Waiting almost 3 weeks for my Costco Mastercard cashback cheque so far, which they no longer send out with statements. They selectively issue these rebates digitally now, but didn't/wouldn't for me, even though I asked after two hours with customer service was given three wildly different days about when my cheque mailed out. The only options for support are chat and phone (mostly overseas call centers) - no email option! Spend well over $100K per year on this card so my cashback is 4-figures, but probably not as much as it would be if I used a different card. It might be time to switch...

Worst credit card ever! Informed them we were going on holiday on a “shopping trip” in the USA. They ended up blocking our cards due to “suspicious” charges in the USA. We had to call them 6 x within 2 days to confirm all the security questions and ask them to unblock our cards as we are on a “shopping trip”. Every time we called, we had to confirm who we were and pass all the security questions. They would unblock it for one purchase at a time. Told them again and again, that we are on holiday for four days. The next day thinking everything was ok, we went shopping and guess what happened? They blocked us again! What's wrong with Costco Master Card? So, of course, we were furious, who wants to spend hours on the phone while on your holiday, having to call them before each purchase! They kept on saying these outlets have a lot of fraudulent credit cards... And they flag these specific outlets. I get it, but we have confirmed who we are and can't call them every single time we want to buy something... We are cancelling our horrible Costco Master Cards. I have never had such a horrible experience with a credit card company. The employees were not helpful at all. Obviously not trained properly either.
This is the worst credit card I have ever had. They freeze your card after a short time of an overdue payment. I was less than one week late on a payment because I was stuck in another country while travelling and couldn't access my online banking in a foreign country and they froze my card. When I called to cancel my card, they forfeited all of my Costco cashback rewards.
My wife and I are on 1 account with 2 credit cards and my wife is the primary holder, but when I called to change the address they treated me like I'm a totally different person... I mean why do you allow 2 people to be on 1 account if i can't even make any changes or ask any questions on that account? Very inconvenient and pointless

I didn't get my rebate cheque in the mail. I called to ask them to send me another copy. They were able to confirm the account rebate balance was untouched but refused to send me my cheque as records indicate the cheque had already been sent. When I told him it most likely got lost in transit, the MasterCard customer representative yelled "THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE" So basically your rebate = 0% if anything goes wrong. If you are looking for someone to add insult to injury please call customer service!
I had a problem logging into my account. After chatting with representatives I realized it would be faster for me to phone Capital One than wait for yet another lengthy delay to a very simple question. A representative over the phone was trying to help me but it just escalated the situation so I told them to cancel my card. I cut it their card, threw it into the garbage disposal. Good riddance Capital One. You’ve lost my business for life because your customer service representatives haven’t the most basic understanding of how to handle a simple problem.
