Intact Insurance Funeral Expense would not pay for Grand Mother' s Funeral due to COVID 19!!! They said that proof was needed! Grand Mother died in a Nursing Home!!! We are all heartbroken! The people at Intact Insurance were so rude and unconcerned about her death that both Mom and my wife cried all night!!! Intact Insurance demanded immediate Proof that She Died of COVID 19!!! We don't know what to do! All our families are Heart Stricken in Grief!!!

CUMIS gladly took our money for the past 2 years on the disability insurance we received through our loan, then while applying again for a mortgage my husband was called and interrogated about his whole life. We then received a letter in the mail claiming my husband lied on our loan insurance (the question, 'have you been injured or seeked medical advice in the last 36 months' which his answer was 'NO') and they would be cancelling it as well as denying us on the mortgage insurance. When my husband called to confront them that their claims were false and he had proof, they told him "too bad, it's our choice, and we chose not to insure you". When he told them to refund us they said "no you lied to us", after arguing with them, proving that my husband did not lie, we got nowhere, still no refund. They gladly took our money then cancelled our insurance with no refund for a bit of information that has nothing to do with his current or recent health, the information they did not originally request to begin with. Do not go with CUMIS, get private insurance instead, make sure you do your research and choose one that has better reviews than this.
