CIBC mortgage job loss and disability insurance refused to pay me my benefit because I didn't report visiting the doctor's office regarding the callus on my feet when I applied for this insurance. This is very funny because they collected my money every month on time and if I had a chance to get the benefit, they refunded all the money that I paid before and they said I am not eligible to apply for this insurance because I didn't report about my visiting regarding my callus on my foot and that is not their standard. LOL... I think this is their business plan and they are con artists and a legitimate swindler. What do you think?

CIBC life insurance is the worst you can have your life policies with!
My husband died back in Iraq in 2018 he had his life policy with CIBC. I have been trying in so many ways to prove his death. Since 2018 I have provided all documents and gone back home to prove to the investigation company they hired that he’s dead no hope after 5 years they keep closing my file.
We have been paying them since 2010 I have 4 kids. I have explained my situation and how hard it is to get documents from Iraq. The death certificates are not the same ones here in Canada. Although with the death certificate I have I was approved for my mortgage insurance and the Canadian court accepted the death certificate to transfer the deeds under my name only CIBC are coming up with excuses every single time so they decline my policy.
Please do not bother to pay them for your life policy and don’t let your family suffer!
