No contact for over a decade, and my phone number is the same as back then. In May 2016, the bank deduction changed indicating that my life insurance was now with IVARI. Then on August 8th, the amount deducted from my account more than doubled. Absolutely no communication from any life insurance agent, just a huge increase. I did some detective work; found out my policy number; found out who the new salesman was; then wrote to the company headquarters to cancel my policy and asked for a refund for the payment amount that I had not authorized. Just received a letter talking about it "having been a privilege" etc.... NO mention about any refund or a cheque! Crooked! Over a hundred bucks just stolen from me!!!
Difficult to get concise answers from agent. Not very knowledgeable about company products or policy
no problems, one agent was a bit pushy

In 2016 I had one NSF on an ADP. They sent a letter to my old address which I never received. At that point, they started to deduct from my cash value until there was nothing left and then they cancelled my policy of 20 years. Now I am 60 years old and cannot afford a new policy They never bothered trying to call me (my phone number did not change). When I asked the rep why wasn't I called, she said: "We don't call." Of course, we know why they don't call. It is because the $100,000.00 will have to be paid to my wife in the next few years. My advice to anybody thinking of buying life insurance. Don't. Invest instead, you will be better off in the long run. I missed one payment of fifty dollars, and it cost me one hundred thousand dollars.
