WARNING!! DO NOT GET INSURANCE HERE...I got an online quote with this company. Gave them all the needed information. They sent me a package with reasonable rates and an invoice. I called with regard to make a payment but they required way too much information before accepting payment, so I said: never mind the policy, I'll stay with who I'm already with. They continued to demand payment and I called them and explained why I did not continue with them. Now they have collection agencies after me and they also put a non-payment of premiums on my record so I have a hard time getting quotes elsewhere. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE CROOKS!!!...
Worst customer services ever, especially the claims department. I've been waiting for my adjuster to call me back and it’s been more than a week. He never responds to my calls, my voicemail, my email, and he’s never at the office: one day he’s sick, the next day he doesn’t feel like coming to the office, the day after he’s too lazy to get out of bed...
Agent penalized me for cancelling after the renewal date, which was a lot more than expected. Again called to confirm cancellation and got different numbers from another agent. For my satisfaction, they told me it’s the date when you cancel the insurance matters and the premium but we can’t calculate, it’s the system that tells us. Do not fall prey to this bad service where initially they give less amount and later rip off customers.
I have been a customer for over 5 years and never had issues. The customer service alone will have me cancel my insurance with them when it expires.

Horrible service. Opened a claim on December 19, 2018, and as of now, January 12, 2019, nobody got back to me. Called and left messages and nothing. Absolutely horrible experience.

I had an accident (got rear-ended) last December 16, 2018, and I phoned them right when I had an accident! Since I will be out of the county starting December 24, 2018- January 31, 2019, I made an authorization letter so my husband can deal with it while I'm gone. Up to now, January 10, 2019, I haven't heard about the update or the status of my car, and my car has been sitting in the autobody since the accident. I'm getting really frustrated and don't know what to do! Too much stress during my vacation and I don't know what to expect coming back to Canada. Hoping you will not sign up to this horrible insurance company
I got hit by a deer in the start of October. Off the bat, the insurance company was great with answering my questions and getting me into a rental car. It took 3 weeks to hear back via voicemail that my car was written off. That was on October 26 - I’ve been trying to call back about the insurance money since that day and NOBODY has called me back or responded to my emails. I had never felt so disrespected as a long-term customer. Myself and my family will be switching insurance companies as soon as we can!!!
I received a call feedback email. Is this a joke? I didn't contact Johnson. They contacted me. And, they contacted me to tell me how their system made an error and then proceeded to tell me false information, and then told me I was going to have to pay more than double the additional amount quoted back in August because of some mysterious "error" in the system. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, the agent told me I could, but that they were not going to tell me anything different. A supervisor was not available, so now I'm supposedly waiting between 24-48 hours for a callback. The survey sent to me doesn't contain an option for "Johnson called me to tell me how they screwed up and are now going to charge me more than I was quoted".
My daughter has been under my policy for 7 years. She then had an accident. A deer hit her vehicle. She had just finished university and was hoping to drive her car for another couple of years to pay off school debt. The car was written off and she was told she would get a cheque for $2500. She had no money for a down payment for another vehicle which she required to get to and from work. She called several times a week, e-mailed several times a week. No return call, no return email, no insurance money. Very poor customer service. Now once the contract of our entire family is done (about 7 people), we are all leaving this company. This is horrible customer service. What a way to see what the real world is like.
No one showed any respect and they just kept referring me to people who never answered their phone, or respond to v/mails or emails! I had no idea who was managing my case and was very confused. My car sat in the shop for 2.5 weeks! Guys, my car only needed two tires, two rims, and an alignment - something that could be done in one day!!! Yet, they treated the whole process like there were thousands in damage or like it had to be written off. Absolutely ridiculous! No one called me and because my car was at the dealership, the dealership couldn't get through either. The staff were extremely inefficient - in fact, I strongly believe that my seven-year-old could do a better job! I had to take time off work to find out what was going on. The process only heightened my anxiety. No one prioritized my case. The dealership also was given the runaround and were also provided with inconsistent information and in the end, insurance blamed the dealership!!! Typical. I have never experienced such poor customer service, inconsistency and lack of efficiency in service. No one answers their phone, nor do they call back or respond to emails or follow through. I have never felt so hopeless. Staff are abusive where they never hold accountability, instead, they deflect and blame you or the shop/dealership for the errors the insurance made. They are bullies and are completely inefficient. Stay away!
