CIBC Aventura VISA INFINITE Card Consumer Reviews

Was on a week long trip. The trip was completely booked on my Aventura Infinite card. While away, I discovered I had lost my medication and had to attend a doctor to re-prescribe for the rest of the week. I have my receipt and have just attempted to submit the claim. I was just informed that this is for a pre-existing condition so therefore it does not qualify. I personally feel that losing prescription medication does constitute a medical emergency. But apparently, this is not covered by the travel insurance. I had thought this was a more comprehensive plan when I had read the booklet provided, but now realize that the coverage is extremely limited. Not impressed.
